It's an entertainment show. Does it really matter if a man dances with a man, or a woman dances with a woman? I'd like to think people didn't take the show that seriously to be bothered by this, tbh.

I'm not fussed but if the professionals are okay with it, and the celeb wants to do it; it adds a cool element to the show.
