Alex vs Debbie, would be a dream scenario dance off, they are the 2 who are least impressing me week by week, i now see Debbie as the ballerina, in the pasothon she was just doing some ballerina moves :joker:

Clearly Gemma is popular enough as she was near the bottom of the leader board yesterday yet escaped bottom 2. However I think Ore last year was in dance off 2 times last year and he went on to win, while Louise was never in dance off so I still wont rule out Alex or Debbie.

Still think the final 4 will be Debbie (Unfortunately), Alexandra, with Gemma, Joe and Davood fighting for the other 2 spots in the final (not the public votes but I am pretty sure the judges will push for Debbie and Alex to make the final and cant see both being the dance off together... altough I would love for that to happen lol).

why would judges push for debbie and Alexandra final as they have now been proven to lack a certain popularity as well, in a crucial voting week ;)

i would say Joe, Gemma, Mollie are good for ratings if they are winning over the public vote

where Alex and Debbie haven't really impressed me yet, just a bit what i was expecting from them, and both had their weak dances, Debbie in the samba and salsa, and now Alex with her rumba, which was just not very good, she also didn't listen to Ian's advice, he said small steps and i saw long steps on places


musicals week, well Mollie could have a rumba, and i think there are some really good musical songs for the rumba, dreamgirls perhaps :hee:

Joe the argentine tango now would be great for him i think, and then perhaps a song from Evita don't cry for me Argentina would be a nice classic to dance the AT to :hee:

and nothing but nice comments on social media for Mollie, wow, her own fanbase has grown as well, she said on instagram how much she loved the pasothon, a good laugh it was not wanting to bump into each other, and the quickstep is her personal favourite now :flutter:

Not keen on Alexandra but always thought she was an invincible dancer, but again a terrible dance off for her. Out of time with the music, wobbly, no balance. Probably hope for Joe and Debbie after all. ( Debbie's balance on a much harder routine was by contrast unbelievable for a 59 year old)

Still would like to see Gemma win, so genuine and not false, but seems to have lost her dancing shoes again.

I loved Susan's personality but she was utter crap. I think Mollie is such a nice, sweet girl but she isn't up to the standard of the final.
I just don't get why people vote for someone to win just because they like them as people...it's a DANCING contest. What part of that don't they understand! :hee:

Because some as I do, get behind a contestant who has made improvements over the series,who listen to their partner and show they have and are learning.

From week one Debbie and Alexandra have been proficient as to the routines.
Others like Davood,Gemma and Mollie have improved.
Joe has come on really good too.

So someone learning and improving warrant my support and despite the lower marks,even the Judges state Mollie is improving all the time AND listening to advice given.

That too warrants support.

Debbie and Alexandra for me, have rested a little as to the high point at the start.
For me too built up at the start too.

Now they are making errors, as pointed out the last 2 weeks even by the Judges.
So in effect they are a little worse than the start, while the others getting better.
That's another factor that needs consideration in any competition.

Mollie has improved a lot as a dancer, week 11 is a good achievement for her, at least she outlasted the ones who were weaker than her ;)

But none of them had the dancing experience they need to do the type of dancing that is required of them on the show.
I don't think the likes of Debbie for example has 'rested' at all, or became 'worse' from the start. For goodness sake, - she is nearly 60 and I wouldn't blame her if she was flagging a little bit at this stage - would you? She's keeping going though, not giving in, and still producing great efforts. That Argentine Tango was a triumph imo!
I think that the more natural dancers like her just have a few certain dances, like they all do, that aren't as suited to them as others and again the more 'natural' dancers like her are judged more harshly and every little error highlighted by the judges as a lot more is expected of them.

ALL of the dancers have had up and down weeks, that is because not all dances suit every person. Regardless of it all, Debbie, Joe, Alexandra and Davood are still the best dancers in a dancing competition. Someone other than one of them winning would be a nonsense result. I fully believe one of them will win, because the public always understand and get this particular competition right, to date anyway.

Personally, I'd love Joe or Debbie to win. Joe because he had no experience like you said and his dances are just amazing now, so professional - he has found within himself something he excels at and it's brilliant to watch; and Debbie because as a near 60 year old she is just such an inspiration and a shining light as to finding something in yourself that you can do at any age, no matter what that something may be, and just bloody well giving it your all and going for it especially in the latter stage of your life when your youth and all it's promise is so far behind you. Bravo to her!!!
