Applicants must be British Nationals or have the right to reside in the UK or Republic of Ireland. Should your application be taken further you will be required to provide proof that you are a British National or have the right to reside in the UK or Ireland.

Many people who are not British citizens went in. If you have EU passport than it makes you eligible to participate. And even if not, you still have the legal right to stay in the UK for 50 days. So I don't think it's really an issue...

What if the series lasts longer than 50 days? Anyways, I can't apply, don't have an EU passport and I'm broke. It wouldn't help if the series lasts longer than 50 days.

I wonder what would happen if midway through the series, like the past two, the finale date would be announced.

C5 are not going to do long series any more, 50 is their new standard. They prefer investing the days in their contract in CBB. So technically, I believe it's doable.

I'm somewhat tempted, but like I said in another thread, they'd probably say no even if they wanted me because I'd insist on offcamera bathroom time each morning and evening as I'm still self conscious about my heart surgery scars.

Start one where you say "Hi I'm-" then have it as a black screen for the rest of the two minutes. If your written parts are good enough, they'll probably ring you to say your video is broken, and ask for more details!

They haven't announced it yet, I hope they do though, because that'll give me an idea of when to get my audition tape done. At an educated guess, I'd probably say at least a week after CBB21 ends.

I applied for BBUSA, not BBUK, as I am an American, though now I just moved to South Korea. I no longer have my phone working, so even if BBUS wanted me, they cannot call me.

Like the person here with the teaching asst. position, I will be teaching English and wouldn't want to give that up until it is finished next year. I could get the position back, but it takes months for that and quitting for a TV show may count against me for future jobs.

I also would never live it down to give up a living and working abroad gig for Big Brother only to be evicted first.
