I don't think there was anything about a "war of the sexes" in the launch? Unless you think celebrating females and their right to vote is a slight against men?
Girls are just jealous because we're so much better then them, they're like little slugs!

And if they can do that should they reintroduce Yorkie as a male only chocolate bar?

The theme is strong women and womens rights, Im equal to my husband, but we both have different rolls ,he's the breadwinner and Im the housewife, a perfectly good, happy relationship thats how it should be, women will never be able to do all men do and visa versa, just shut up and carry on girls ( not you Niamh, just women in general )
I thought it was OTT to have an all female crowd and all female BOTS. It was too contrived and pretentious. Talk about overkill.

EXACTLY! Maybe because men gave us such a hard time for so many years some men are now worried that we're going to do the same to them. But we're so much nicer than that and we're looking for equality not superiority. And let's face it, for every woman who wrongly claims that men are inferior to women, there will be a man who still thinks it's okay to say "Show us yer tits, darlin'!"

This. I do think some people are kind of missing the point with all of this. It's not about saying women are superior, it's celebrating something specific that happened in our history (which only needed to happen in the first place because men were seen as superior). If you want to be angry at any part of this be angry about that being our history. The women who fought to change things deserve to be remembered and celebrated, even if it is by way of a crass reality TV show

That's not the approach of equality, it's just another version of gender supremacy but flipped on its head.
Like saying:
'We believe men have had all the power and that's wrong - so now we are going to show how wrong that is - by doing the exact same thing in reverse!'
It's pretty basic and silly. And of course pretty hypocritical.
If you think the idea of one gender holding all the cards is so bad - why do the exact same thing then?
Empty gestures really. It makes out like someting serious is happening but really it's just another BB 'theme'

When men are being "bitchy" they're basically called a woman so taking the heat off men cos men aren't bitchy by nature of course so therefore the man is behaving like a woman, that's why it's always made out to be a womans trait. In reality, there are argumentative people in both sexes

Wrong pronoun for Nadia
I used no pronoun. So nope. Pronouns are he and she...and apparently ze zir and a load of other bollocks made up words
i may get branded sexist for saying this but ....:worry:
in my experience, its fairly common for there to be loud, aggressive, drunk males, shooting their mouths off, its not pleasant, but its not uncommon.
For me personally, I just haven't had the same exposure to woman doing that around me, so if I see a man doing it on the TV i think what a twat, if I see a woman doing it I find it much more shocking, purely because its not what I'm used to, so I find it very uncomfortable viewing, and of course it sticks in the memory more
So for me, its not about judging more harshly at all, its just for me at least a much rarer experience

No, I love Emma. Not in a gay way...
It was more her presenting style again...very nearly had me switching off..

Yeah this is a very honest reply. Thanks for that. yes it might stick in the mind more as its rarer for women to behave that way (in everyday life). SO maybe it was unfair to say that people who think this are just judging women more harshly, as its not a conscious thing :)
