i don’t like phelan he’s a bit of a dick isn’t he

He's a nasty person, but a pretty great villain, most of Corrie's killers you feel sympathetic for as it happened in the heat of the moment, but Phelan was a nasty guy before he even bashed Andy over the head with a laptop, so it's pretty different to watch him compared to Tony Gordon and John Stape.

The whole storyline is a bit too far fetched and feels like it belongs on Holyoaks.

Hollyoaks,Emmeerdale and to be fair Eastenders are wider areas.
This is Coronation Street, a STREET, some cannot sneeze without it being noticed, he has been able,without steady full time work,to be able to listen in,disappear,,keep prisoners for at least months in a house he didn't own,murder and plant evidence unquestioned,some things truly,even for a soap,massively over the top things.

The content,is not right,accurate,necessary and it just gets tedious and in fact,it's ruining this soap.
All the Phelan nonsense.

The humour is gone,it's why I can't watch Eastenders,Eastenders would likely have people needing anti depressants.
Sadly Corrie has gone the same way totally unnecessarily too.

It is.in a sinister way.

Hayley's terminal cancer story was really sad but handled superbly.

Rita's brain tumour one had loads more mileage in it than it got due to the Phelan tripe.

The overall humour though,which is evident in 'streets' is near all gone.
Now we have near gangster Barlow's in Ken and Peter too.

Really sad ITV have allowed this long running and successful soap to fall into such utter nonsense and gutter storylines,after all it's great successes in handling important issues,over the decades.

I thought it was all coming to a head over Christmas and we would finally be rid of Phelan. But no - still it goes on! It is a joke now and is spoiling the show. The show really must be pretty desperate for storylines to drag it on like this.

The commentator asked the question again if Phelan was about to be found out tonight when announcing CS was on next. I don’t know how many times he has asked that? Really disappointed In the show now.
