...that’s what Shane was trying to convey, that Wayne and Amanda’s life/the impact on their lives and the freedom of their lives etc would not have been as they are had the legislation not been passed that Ann had actively opposed so much...sadly though, his frustrations in allowing some stuff under his skin meant he didn’t act that great either in trying to ‘set others against Ann’...so it all unfortunately became lost...
