...that’s what Shane was trying to convey, that Wayne and Amanda’s life/the impact on their lives and the freedom of their lives etc would not have been as they are had the legislation not been passed that Ann had actively opposed so much...sadly though, his frustrations in allowing some stuff under his skin meant he didn’t act that great either in trying to ‘set others against Ann’...so it all unfortunately became lost...

Yeah exactly. Idk but I think I'd find it pretty difficult to be friends with somebody with those views (especially in her situation). Maybe she just likes Ann's company because they're a similar age
