I've never had a proper ex or one that's ever went on to have another relationship, but my best friend for 3 years eventually led me on for a year after coming out and downright admitted it. I somehow managed to cope with the toxicity and manipulation for a long while, but the moment he got into a relationship and still called me the "most beautiful guy in the universe" and **** I had to bail.
