And no CBB22 until January 2019?

Could be one of the ways they’re handling a lower budget, the competition from Love Island and the ‘big changes’ that are coming.

It doesn't sit well with me that there could be housemates who were born in 2000 :/

Somebody pointed out that the 'you must be 18 by such and such a date' could just mean that they're putting in a bunch of 18 year olds on the 18 year anniversary of BB1 airing on TV which would be insane.

I think he means bc they'll be housemates who were born the same year the show first aired on TV. Like babies who were alive in BB1 could potentially be drinking, swearing, screaming and shagging on BB19. :joker:

It bothers me they never did 2 series' a year in the early years to correspond the series to the year actually like BBUSA and IAC.

There's yet to be anyone born past 1996 as a housemate yet :eyes:

Ashleigh Coyle did that.

But isn’t the lower budget only if the contract is renewed, so CBB23 onwards?

Don't they tease "big changes" every year though

Hoping to have 5 point nomination system like BBAUS

With live noms in the chamber as well omggg

I actually love the idea of Autumn BB. Liked it back on BB12.

Yes, because of everything that's currently wrong with the show, not allocating five points between two housemates is the biggest problem.

Budget cuts won’t come until after the new contact is renewed (with a lower budget) so CBB22 will definately air in 2018 (as is contacted) under the current budget

Well hopefully it'll put an end to the constant nominations twists/production manipulating who's nominated, that's a start I suppose :hee:

Nah, Isabelle and Tom were the youngest at 21

That’s good, hopefully they think this through and instead of cutting the budget on all 3 series they just axe summer CBB

Remember the contract for the house ends on 30th September 2018. So they are unable to run over that date.

I don't really care about Ratings so I'd rather I only had to be watching 2 hours of TV a day for 7 weeks than one a day for three months.

Either way, the summer CBB is normally over by then anyway.

Just axe Summer CBB and we could have a 64-day civilian...

The Summer CBB wasn’t even in the original contract when C5 got the rights for BB, it was only added...

It's nuts to think think Tom and Clare's child from bb1 can almost audition!

I think this years civilian bb will only run for 6 weeks though and they will shove in a CBB to end it all by the time of he contract is up.
