Just a generalized comment and not specific to this seasons same sex couple, if there is one, im still catching up on it. Generally speaking the way this game is engineered should be a kiss of death for sny same sex couple as soon as the sex chooses. It should inevitably lead to one of that couple being forced to pair with someone of the opposite sex and put the other one in jeapordy of being eliminated. I have no morsl objection to same sex couple but i think in the game it should be against the rules. It throws the dynsmics of the game off.

Wow now i have seen the episode two women pair up and have to say im fully disappointed with how they handled it.
I got the switching of the power thing but the issue for me is that they switch it back by bringing in 2 new girls again. Now the balance is 7 boys competing to couple up 4 girls. This is why they should not allow same sex coupling. By all rights if these two new guys are liking any of the girls they can pull the same stunt and pick two guys to buddy up with. By the producers logic that would mean there would only be 3 boys vs 4 girls and the boys would get eliminate one of the girls. Even though the reality is that there is 6 girls and 7 boys living in the villa.

Eoghan is a complete tool. Its unbelievable how girls swoon over him. Im not a huge fan of jess but she can do better than him. I hope Gerrard and her end up coupled together.

I hope cassie gets dumped. She has just been awful. She was my favorite in the begining but as the show progresses my opion gets lower and lower.
I like the twins. They both come across as genuine to me. I like the black girl (cant think of her name) too. She is really nice. I hope she survives the next dumping but i kinda think she isn't going to. Thats kinda sad because she is very nice and really pretty. Its a shame nobody has took a shine to her.

Catching up, just finished episode 6 after the first recoupling. Cynthia should've picked Sam as Maurice is clearly not into her and just using her after being pied by Jessie. I was enjoying the Sam/Vanessa/Matthew triangle mess. Shame that's ended too quickly.

I don't know why Sophie was acting all surprised when Phoebe picked Cassie, surely she would've known or at least been briefed on the latest events in the villa.

Gerrad i genuinely feel badly for but he is handling everything wrong. So I've been avoiding this thread until I've caught up, I'm on episode 19 now and I'm gonna binge watch the remaining episodes tomorrow (today) so I've fully caught up with everything, but what a series this has been!

Where do I even begin. I felt really sorry for Phoebe, she really liked Cassie and had no interest in anyone else. I don't know why Cassie ****ed her over in the end, she should've been honest and told her from the get go that whilst she was interested in Phoebe and wanted to see how things would go between them, she'd still be interested in men and preferred them in the end, instead of leading her on, playing with her feelings, coupling up with her and ditching her very quickly. As soon as the twins picked her for a date, Cassie completely forgot about Phoebe. It was like ''Phoebe who?'' Poor girl, I was gutted when she was dumped. Fair play to her for going with her heart and not faking her feelings with any of the boys just to say in.

I can't tell you how much I despise Matthew, ****ing nasty, smug, vile gameplaying prick! I knew he was never genuine with Vanessa and was only using her. I cringed so hard at his pathetic and embarrassing attempt at 'crying' when the boys picked to dump Vanessa. Like you could've at least put on a better performance than that. His reaction to finding out he'd still be staying in the villa, along with ''Vanessa who?'' in the beach hub during the 'Bomb Squad' week, pretty much said it all about him. Vanessa clocking him for the fake ****er he is when she was leaving though. :clap1:

I enjoyed the 'Bomb Squad'. All gorgeous girls that had made an impact. This twist was obviously their version of Casa Amor which was a nice touch. I do wish Angel had been picked instead of Biannca, she had more personality. Shame she wasn't in there earlier, her and Phoebe could've hit it off.

This whole Jessie and Gerard romance came out of nowhere. :laugh: He kisses her once during a game and suddenly she fancies him? Didn't care about Eoghan that much, but that's gotta hurt.

Glad Cynthia's finally with someone. Hope Aaron's genuine with her and not just using her.

Apparently it's not looking likely to be renewed for season 3 </3 Tbf this season was nothing compared to the AMAZING first season so I'm not surprised. A shame though that it gave us the best Love Island ever last year and now we'll probably never replicate it </3

Just thought I’d mention that the first 5 or 6 episodes of Australian Love Island Series 4 are ready to watch / download !!


I’m into episode 4 and this series has had the best start of ANY of the Love Islands I’ve seen ..

I missed the first few English love Islands but I’ve seen the last two or three series and an USA one plus an Australian one .

As I recall I enjoyed the last Australian one as well … they just select better people imho
