In a way, I'm glad some people ruled themselves out and I don't know some others bc it's difficult to make a shortlist of 15 as it is. Have 25 now and looking at ways to trim it down.

I wasn't going to bother the "you need x amount of nominations to be in the Top 50" rule as I didn't quite understand the point of it. :laugh: I was just going to make it simple, i.e. the 50 with the most nominations regardless of how many.

Plus Ben's rule was five nominations to qualify (I believe) and right now it's looking as though more than 50 members will exceed that anyway.

Round 1 closes Next Monday (14th May), I'll then recount the votes, reveal the Top 50 (or 50+ if there's a tie) and start Round 2 voting either Monday evening or Tuesday morning depending on how long it takes. :laugh:

(I'll add that if there is a tie, we'll still have a Top 50 for the countdown but I'll reveal who didn't make the Top 50 before I proceed with the countdown. So, if I end up with a list of 55 after Round 1, 5 people won't make the countdown after Round 2 votes have been counted but will be mentioned in a separate post, just to save time.)

Ty Jamie. I think in the grand scheme of things, I hope that we're on our own lists as well... and just a good reminder to ourselves that words do sometimes have meaning and other people need to hear nice things said about them every once in a while, and so on...

I think I've lurk/read 2 or 3 of these now? I always really enjoy reading the quotes... it did make me think about why other people felt that way, made me look for those qualities in said person... but man, I don't know if I watch this thing live again... I did one year and it was just a bit intense... like a BB live final, except without my stream in the US lagging, F5-F5-F5...
