Hello lovelies. For some strange reason I have agreed to do this for you all… I do hope I do it justice (I recognise that, taking over from the wonderful Ammi, I’m essentially Brian Dowling in this situation, but bear with me. ) I’m not so great at introductions so I’ll just get right on with it…

Round 1 (Closed)

For this round, and through sending me a PM, you must nominate up to fifteen members that you would like to see included in the final countdown. You don’t need to include reasons for this round, just the fifteen members’ full usernames (and that’s full usernames, as there are several members on here with the same name.)

Once this round closes, I will then count up the nominations and the 50 members with the most nominations will qualify. If there’s a tie in nominations, then there’ll be more than 50 members going into the second round. Number of nominations will be multiplied by two. So if you get 5 nominations, you get 10 points and so on.

Countdown (29th May 2018)
For the countdown, points from the first round and points from the second round will be combined to make up a total. If there's a tie, the member with the most points in the first round will receive the higher placing. I'll count down from #50 to #1, with #50 receiving the lowest total amount of points, and #1 receiving the highest and winning this year's Most Loved.

For the first round do you have to receive a certain amount of votes? I know in past editions you needed at least 5 votes to advance into the Top 50. Idk if I've got that wrong though lol

Yes, but what if there's people who receive the same amount of votes, thus taking the total amount of members advancing to round 2 to more than 50

Let's be honest there is gonna be a struggle to fill the 50 as it is

I think the rule used to be, in the order that votes are received, whoever hits the target first.

Yeah this is the first I've heard of that rule. I don't think I'll do that though, I don't really see the point of it over just having the 50 with the most nominations rather than 50 who exceeded a certain amount.

(Yeah as Adam said, I might not even receive enough votes to introduce that rule. )
