A change to vote to save in order?

Last year, some of the most entertaining people got kicked out at early stages, like Nikki, everyone moaned saying how annoying she was then people were moaning how boring it was without her, so do you think this year the voting should change to vote to stay instead of vote to evict

I posted this before CBB started in January so it should be interesting to see if people have the same opinion

I have been advocating a change to vote to save for a couple of series now, people would never be so keen to vote to save a boring housemate in my mind so it would probably improve things.

Anyways i think it would be better saving hms than evicting them, it gives a positive vibe

yes it might sound better, but is sound really important when you think of the extra number of hours the more entertaining housemates will stay in the house :thumbs2:

Vote to stay would be much more ideal, because that way the series can stay entertaining for longer I reckon. A lot of the time, in the heat of the moment perhaps, lots of people vote to evict HMs who are big characters - the love 'em or hate 'em types - and at the end of the day they're the ones who make BB more interesting, so they should stay!

Vote to stay would therefore be better, but I don't know if it'll change, because it's a tradition. I hope the same mistakes aren't made, but we'll see.

A vote to save makes somuch more sence. It stops mass voting to get a housemate out.

Its a much fairer way of voting in my opinion

I think vote to evict causes the crowds to boo more actually, the fact that its a vote to evict often makes people hate them more

If it stays as vote to evict you can pretty much guarentee that all the interesting housemates will be voted out first, leaving the quieter more boring housemates
The reason for this is because it is hard to find anything wrong with the boring housemates, after all they dont say or do anything
However with the entertaining housemates it is a love em or hate em sort of thing, take Nikki for example, i loved her but many people found her annoying and that is why she was evicte
Vote to save will mean the more entertaining housemates will stay in for longer

Thats also a good point Dan..... I dont agree with hate thrads either. It just spirals out of control and becomes a slagging match

i think it should be vote to evict. if it was vote to save, as youve seen in other reality tv shows such as x factor, it means you have to get more votes, if its vote to evict then the person who goes out will genuinely deserve it because so many people have voted them out not in.

Thats a good point but in X Factor you are voting for the person with the most talent and in BB your voting based on personality

I think it should be a vote to "stay". There are too many people now generating hate threads against housemates I think possibly to start a snowball effect of eviction feever against a chosen individual to win bets.......

A vote to win I think would give such people a harder time and maybe we would not lose so many controversial characters at an early stage and perhaps just for once a controversial character could win BB instead of the politically correct vote wins for some minority type individual like transexuals or people with other misfortunes in life..

I feel for such people but when sympathy votes are preasent that is not fair to the other housemates chance of winning based on personality rather than other factors that the politically correct brigade can get their teeth into.......

A vote to stay would be far much better then an evict vote. It give sthe more entertaining housemate a chance to stay. I mean if it had been a vote to stay last year characters like Sezer, Lisa, Nikki & Mikey could have stayed in favor of less entetrianing housemates like Susie, Imogen & Pete. I'm all in favor for a vote to Save.

I think you get something out of seeing the person you dislike leave...especially if you have played a part in kicking them out.
