I have no idea but I heard someone saying online that they live in Wales and would of gone to Cardiff but mancharcher was closer..... So I'm guessing that Cardiff is the 5...

But I'm reckoning that these files only contain pictures of the top 2000... So it's nothing exciting!... Only what the 2000 already know.... Boaring!

Although I was wounding if they really did audition 2000 people... As to me that seems like a waste of time if they are only looking for 16 people... But after seeing these files and knowing theres a few more to be added... Yes I'm convised they auditioned 2000 people... If i were them though I would do most of the reasurch online and only audition the top 500

I can confirm that only 1,500 people were auditioned altogether at the 5 cities, and those who have had a yes thus far know that they’re being considered as they’ve filled in the long forms and are being scheduled for London auditions.

They had 23,000 applicants this year and auditioned just over 1,500. It’s easier for them to cut it down before auditions these days. 23,000 for an 18 year old show averaging 1.4m is still massive, especially when you consider that it got 2x the amount of applicants when it had 4x the audience

I think you are confusing the short online form with the long one they used to do years ago. .. The online one is only about four pages long... Someone who works there said that 2000 got this audition stage...


After the task they never said it was over... Id rather foolishly trust them... I did no long form and they said "it's diffidently NOT the end of the road'...

I do wish though that they would be more up front about this... As twice other times they've left me on a cliff hanger... If they knew we had not got through to the next round they should say... I know I should not say but as someone who failed so many times, i dont feel that getting to 'top 2000' is anything to celebrate over.

Getting on this show means more to me than anyone applying.. it litterily feels like life or death till next year... but I hate how they neVer showed the contestants any respect... If you know they are not through you should tell them... Have they done it again because they knew we were not through because we filed in no long form... grr

Getting on this show means more to me than anyone applying.. it litterily feels like life or death till next year... but I hate how they neVer showed the contenants any respect... If you know they are not through you should tell them... Have they done it again becuase they knew we were not through becuase we filed in no long form...

In fact I would not be surprised if those files are empty... The people who get in the house are probably just the ones with agents who are will to pay the most amount of money...

I will say this - during the auditions for Question Jury, I was among the first sent home while others were kept back, and I ended up having a five day stint on that show while no-one else from my audition session ended up on it.

Yes, it's a different show and different process, just sayin' tho.

Of the 1,500 they auditioned, 300 at each location roughly, only the people that made the next stage got the form. They’re past that stage now and onto finalised auditions and screenings in London.

Can I confirm that the form is just that online thing... And not a really long 1hr or more questioner that is done by hand on the day...

I'm sticking with first three guesses...

1. Each candidate has the 4/5 page form and the three page contract saying they won't tell... If each folder has 700 pages within then each folder contains info on 80 people... And since there are 4 +4+7+4+4 folders then I'm reckoning that they've narrowed it down too ... 4 files x 80 people =320 candidates ...then x 4 locations = 1280... plus London so 7 files x 80 = 560 from London... = 1840...

So I recon they are down to the top 1840... I know we are not allowed to say if we got an audition but 1840/15 is a really low 'win' ratio... I would keep quite if I got to finial 500 but I have a storng feeling that even after they've called the 500 that they want, they won't bother to send out a message to the others that they are not through... That I think is disrepecful... One tweet on when 2nd call back are over that's all I ask for...

2. Second posablity is that there was a 40 page form that I did not fill out because I failed again... If that's the case then each person probably has 50 pages if there's 600 pages in each folder then each folder has the top 12.. 12 x 4 is 48.. 48 x 4 locations is 192. .. Plus London 12 x 7 = 84.. 192 + 84 = 276... To get in to this stage means somthing hence I will silence myself.. . But i know nothing yet hence I don't think it matters what I say..

3. Option is that the files are empty and the wins are already chosen according to whos agent pays the most.. May be BB posted this picture to try and fool even the smart ones who bother to analyse their ways...

I wish you were right as I HATE waiting But If it's not going to start till September 7th... Then I will still hope till end of July.... This is why I hate auditioning for the show... I get my hopes up then spend much of my time fantising about how great it would be... Then nothing happens... If its on next year I think I need to DEFINITELY NOT apply... This waiting is horrible.. The problem is I have nothing better to do... Other than sun bathing. Ps. I love my garden.. But that needs plenty of work to be done on it..

On the day, those given a no were told ‘it’s not the end’ but it is for 99.9% of these people. If not, you would have already been called back by now anyway. If you’re not currently waiting for your next stage of auditions in London, then you are not a housemate

Alothough super tv247.... I have a reason to belive that I might be that 0.1% of which you spoke of... But i would not wish to go public about it just on the 0.1% change that I'm right... I would tell you why I think I'm the 0.1% but I would not want you to pass it on to others...

You don't know what it going on.. You still think they are starting first week of July.... I hope your right as my wait will finally be fully over sooner, but they are saying that the search has only just begun and that the earliest start is last week of August... That different to what you believe.

Pluss it was only last week that new members joined the team to help get better housemates... How can they have narrowed it down already...

Also I left at 8. 30pm and there was hardly anyone around at that time so I think your talking bull****...as the staff were gearing to leave not preparing people to fill in long forms.

I recon I was right now about there being 2000 applicants an not 1500 which is what you said....


Before there were 5 locations and I estimated that there were 1840 applicants (1700 if the folders contain less than 700 pages in) .. Since theyve done a 6th location... You need to add another 200-300 people to that list.... So yes I think they did audition 2000 people.... To me that seems way over the top but that's what they used to do in the good days... Then they cut back... So maybe thats a sign of the budget being high this year since it might be the last one..

And you should only give up the idea of being in the house when you are certain that the second round of auditions are over.... I've never got to that stage but I've heard that they do a test run where they film a group of people in a house doing tasks just to see how they look on camera when in an inviroment similar to bb house .. Its a test shoot to see how they would come across on tv if they were in the final house...

Some of the people who say that they auditioned (at this stage) actually in the big brother house itself... Maybe that's why they only finish the house in the kinck of time before the show starts... Its done so that the auditioness don't actully see the finial house (maybe I don't know)

I always dwell on it... I've been dwelling on it since I was 16... (for 15 years exactly) And I was not even old enghf to audition back then...

I filmed this in 2009... Its a collection of comedy joke big brother auction tapes....

I won't stop till I'm in... Even if its not on next year... It will come back I one day I will be on it.

Actully I was 15... The first time I watched big brother was when Jade Goddy was in it... But i didn't watch the show... I just saw one exposed and said to myself I've got to be in there... Watching big brother is like watching tennis... I don't want to watch it I want to join in and play... That's how I felt about it from day one... But i lacked confidance back then so I never thought I had a chance.. :-)... 3rd year of uni was soo great that it gave me that confidence to apply... But it's turns out that my first instinct was right.... Too many people apply that the ones who want it the most get lost in the crowd...

BB twitter was right... Good candidates get lost amoungs the crowd...

No bullshiit.... And weren't you someone who's complainning that the BB producers get most things wrong and scruw up alot... What happened to the complete 180 in your mind... Eiver you have complete trust and faith in them that they will choose only the best candidates or you agree that they are doing tooo many things wrong hence why there show might Likly be Canciled...

In my view... If its going to fail its only becuase they are NOT choosing the best housemates... I would be the best becuase hello... I believe I'm christ! What person can be more controversial than that... But yes... I belive they have been choosing really normal dull people in the past 7 years so yes theres a high change that they will do that again... So I should move on... Ececpt it..
