Because of the low ratings, they want old fans to come back and because of the C5 template is associated with an awful BB, maybe the C4 template will grab older fans’ attention and that’s the first step to convincing people they’re actually going back to basics

Intriguing, especially as the guy who set up SHOP has been involved with the graphic design since 2007 (http://bigbrother247.co.uk/day-6-exclusive-interview-with-shop/). Will be interesting to see whether the contract returns to Hello Charlie or if a new company entirely will be involved.

My favourite was eye of 2015... It reminds me of sleeping beauty and how the Princess was locked away in a castle surrounded by thorn bushes...

Just like common sense good taste really isn’t that common... The Eastlock eye was just as dreadful towards the end of BB on Channel 4... It’s the likes of a small majority shouting their hatred of all things new that has many people unable to share a decenting opinion...

tbh BB18's was awful, so if this was the direction we were heading to, then it's acceptable.

My biggest concern, as super said, is ditching the eye for a generic USA house logo. I don't know if they'll go as far as not using an eye as the logo, but well, with C5 you can never know.

I think the original template will come back. I really think they will try to make this as "old school" as aren't C5 trying to sell the brand to another channe? Wasn't it also the reason for CBB21? To show other channels that they it doesn't have to be all a negative boo-fest?

Lets be honest, BB is still an incredibly strong brand, one where it's still doing very well internationally. There is no way the UK will not hold onto BB in some shape or form, whether it's on TV or online.

Not really... I lurked well before I posted and it really is just a few forcing their immature and ignorant views on the majority... Everything Channel 4 did was not gold and not everything Channel 5 has done has been horrific as some would rather we believe...

BB11 on the other hand grew on me and looked amazing with the rest of the theming they used that year...

I agree the BB18 eye was horrendous... You can add CBB17/19/20 in the mix too...

Just like Channel 4 and the Eastlock eye I think they've fallen in to a bit of a rut and a change will certainly be welcomed...

That said I think they should work on developing something NEW rather than reverting back to a design that was well past it's expiration date...
