Launch peaked at 3.4 million and averaged 3 million up on last years 1.3.
That's a massive jump from last year and is now eclipsing cbb.

I'll be interested to see whether the weekly average continues to improve week on week, year on year (I think there's only one week in the last three series where it hasn't)

In before the final breaks 4m

I enjoyed it even though a lot was very staged it kept me entertained as it wasn't slow paced like a bb launch.

Didn't want to like it but I'll be tuning in again tonight.

Eclipsing? When did cbb ever get 3.4 overnights since like katie price’s year?

Interesting to see that LI’s figures grew so much, that the launch and episode 2 were the two lowest ratings of the entire series (which would never happen in BB)

Doubt it’ll be the same this year though

Btw LeatherTrumpet, calling it a mean girls comp implies you havent even watched it cuz the contestants were REALLY nice last year which is probably why it was so popular. If you just saw last night’s I’ll forgive you as Laura’s a bit of a bitch tbh

That's what he just said? Are you being obtuse on purpose?

I watched it a few years back when the girl called Jess won, and thought it was dreadful then. But since then It seems to have got more popular, so I tuned in to see what the fuss was about, and I realised that it's a perfect show in this day and age of the adult child.

"who do you fancy" playground talk

None of them had anything interesting to say. Just a vanity childrens programme. Rotting your mind.

Eclipsing is present tense, eclipsed is past. I was saying since last night it achieved ratings CBB hasn’t seen for years I saying i think its already eclipsed

Im going to give it a go, the narration is pretty awful and the conversation is non existent but will stick with it to see what the fuss is about. What happens to the spare male revealed tonight what does he do, try to hook up with someone else?

This is so true, I can't believe the snobbery towards LI by some on here, a Big Brother forum.

I actually watch the show for the Iain commentary. It's why the show is so great... it doesn't purport to be a type of social experiment that turns into a bunch of showmances... It's just showmances that even production can make fun of and have a laugh at. No one takes it seriously at all...except maybe those in it trying to win an Emmy selling us on how really in love they are after three days

That was CBB a few years ago, ratings are always plummeting in tv due to more people getting access to streaming/Itvplayer etc. Also CBB was on Channel 5. This rating is far more impressive than anything from BB on channel 5.
