I think the only bad think anyone could ever say about Brian Dowling is that he wasn't a great tv host. With all the other "loved" HMs there can be something to pick on, but BD's character is pretty unpickable.

Every single housemate listed in this thread had hate at them in some way apart from Brian. Everyone else either did something later as housemates to reduce their popularity, are frequently called overrated, or aren't loved in the first place.

I'm gonna add Jayne Connery, very little or no hate ever said about her
