The opportunity to return to the house, as in you can if you want. That's what most have assumed. If it's a battle back then they could have been clearer as bonus life does suggest you get another life rather than a chance at another life. Time will tell anyway.

Yeah it was Iain last year, Martin Roberts the year before that, and then Lady C before him (though that year, 2015, she had a load of other people to bounce off which made it much better). Also, ~spoiler alert~, the recent winners ALWAYS fit the same mould - a 'likeable' female reality star that gets to narrate the series. You can pick a winner from day two and that's boring

I'm a Celeb is definitely the most popular British reality show (if we discount talent shows), so maybe that's why? I mean it's a winning formula so I get why they never change it - the hosts are national treasures, the casts are never too 'nasty', there's always one or two household names, the trials are popular, etc etc. It shouldn't be as big a ratings-winner as it still is, because for all we complain about BBUK's format being messed around with too much, IAC literally hasn't changed in about eight years :shrug:

So predictable that the veto wasn't used, the traditional way of playing safe is so boring, it's like people have an excuse of doing that early on in particular, but then it continues for quite a while. But it's actually a good way to gain an ally and make the HoH pick another, so it makes more sense to use the veto more often.

Rachel's punishment is an absolute joke, the worst kind of simplistic American humour, it's just generic insults and nothing about the game at all. I just don't care about these people either way! Level 6 is just boring whitebread with a negative amount of charisma, but FOUTTE is a bit of a trainwreck but not even that exciting of one? Kaitlyn is definitely certifiable in the same way Danielle Murphree and Raven were, but I feel like her shtick is wearing thing already? She's painfully a pawn without realizing it, and this really felt like the longest week ever with her HOH, which everyone promised would be a glorious trainwreck but the game just felt like it was in a static standstill for the week! And then CBS is obviously grooming Tyler to be the breakout star of the season but like....... he is playing an ostensibly good game and that's it. Sorry but it takes a lot more than that for me to start to care about someone!

Tyler is my favorite by FAR this season. Playing great (maybe a little too visibly great though - which he could have toned down) and his DR's explaining his game/actions are even better because he makes it fun to watch. :clap1:

I think the last time I was truly passionate about BBUS was when Da'Vonne was in the house.

Although I don't think I'll ever be as invested in a season as I was BB15. I was SO passionate in rooting for the good people that I was always watching it 24/7.

I think BBUS has lost the originality it used to have which made it so good. Like I don't think we'll ever get a season like BB6 or BB10 or BB11 etc. even if they get the casting spot on. The gimmicks have taken over too much and it's become too standardised.
