Would anyone write Big Brother news articles for this site?

Do you want to help out on this site by writing Big Brother (and/or CBB) articles for this site? Send me a private message or post in this thread if you are interested.

Housemate rumours, series rumours, house news etc. It can be as easy as rewriting Big Brother articles from news sites - but no copying from other fan-sites.

Posting articles is as easy as posting threads on the forum.

You could have access to official press releases and official picture releases.

There might be other benefits on the forum - once I think what they could be.

To post an article go to Quick Links at the top of the page, then click 'Post New celebrity big brother summer 2018 [cbb 22] Frontpage Article' or 'Post New big brother 2018 [bb 19] Frontpage Article'.

Then type your article as you would a new thread and Submit New Thread to post the article on the frontpage at www.thisisbigbrother.com

Another thing you can do when posting an article is select a related thread on the forum. If there is a thread already on the forum about the same subject as your article you can select it when posting the article under 'Related Thread (optional)'. That way the comments from the thread will appear under your article.

That's basically how you post an article.

Ask me if you have any questions. As I've said it is best not to copy and paste whole articles, especially from other fan-sites, but you can copy bits of other news articles and put them in quotes, with either a link back to the source or just the name of the source, or you can rewrite things to be in your own words.

Adding pictures to articles.

You can use the normal codes to add pictures.

If you want to upload pictures to TiBB you could try using the TiBB gallery at http://www.thisisbigbrother.com/gallery/ and go to 'Upload file' then upload the pictures to the private album 'Press Stories' or the relevant BB forum. You would then be able to use the picture in your article.

Another option is to upload them to your profile album, and use the link from there.

I've been thinking about modifying it to make to easier to upload pictures for articles, and have them hosted on this site.

I've set up a test forum where you can post test articles (those of you I have given approval to). They won't appear on the frontpage. The links in the related thread won't work either so don't worry about that.

Spell check is standard with any electronic device that has a keyboard these days... An app like Grammarly would suit a lot of members here far better..:
