they only won because anytime there was a challenge, a party, an argument or whatever it was always one of those two leading the narration, loads of the other islanders had the same 'banter' and 'entertainment value' as them the producers just chose not to see it (for example josh n wes)

They won because they are well suited IMO...maybe if Paul and Laura had been a couple longer they would have stood more of a chance.
However look at the coupling. Paul was lovely but didn't give us much personality..Laura gave us personality and a journey. Wes was a nice guy and he was very open and honest...Megan grew on me but didn't show us much in the way of personality. As for Kaz..pretty dull really and Josh was a bit cringy.
So Jack and Dani had this in the bag..both full of character and stayed respectful and I believe they will last..they deserved to win.

...this really for me as well..it was just an inevitable win for Dani and Jack so no surprise and no disappointment either because they are quite a cute couple...(...the surprise would have been if they hadn’t won...that would have been the OMG moment...and I guess in a way it’s nice to have OMG moments as well in a final..)....


...anyway I do like Dani and Jack...Jack just seems like being in awe in being on Love Island and his experience there and having being coupled with Danny Dyer’s daughter...like a dream come true for him...he’s just a stationary salesman so he keeps saying and OMG look at me now guys...:laugh:...so cute...I love how Dani has stayed true to her friendships while still saying when she’s felt a friend hasn’t acted the greatest etc...like with Georgia when she was honest with her and with Alex when he rejected Alexandra in the way he did...she has some great qualities about her, I feel...so a lovely win for them but yeah...a predictable and inevitable win as Mokka said...

...just a little by the by...my heart broke when Meg was making her speech/declaration to Wes...she’s just so shy, so awkward, so lacking in confidence...she struggled so much but has come so far in this experience I think...and hopefully she’ll keep going with that...in believing in herself a little bit more...
