i can explain the line up and Celebrate Diversity a bit

Joe Sugg, Vick Hope were signed to appeal as well to a younger audience, same goes for Dr Ranj, who is well known on CBeebies


but celebs like Lee, Susannah, Danny John Jules, Charles Venn were signed for the strictly's main viewing public, family households, since Casualty is a well watched series, same goes for Death in Paradise, and some might recognize Lee from EastEnders as well given he was in that recently


Ashley Roberts from Pussycat dolls, well she's also a familiar face from DOI


Susannah was in a great show trinny & susannah, and a quite famous face in the fashion world in the 90's


Stacey Dooley had her own investigative show, also with good viewer ratings on BBC3


2 sports stars while last year we only had one sports star so also an improvement there honestly


yes i am happy that i don't really dislike anyone on the line up tbh, they all seem a diverse bunch of nice people :hee:

most people i chat with on the bbc blogs are just going to watch for the dancing and they will just try to get to know the celebs through this :)


same on strictly ds forums, they are also quite positive overall


this show is about the dancing, while a show like i'm a celeb and celebrity big brother are focused on the celebrities


some people didn't knew Jay and look what happened he won strictly, with fanbase consisting out of most of the main strictly viewers

this exactly, i guess we want nice people taking part in strictly every year, since it is often that the biggest celebs are also bit arrogant and stuck up


this whole line up now consists out of a fun group i think, also a bit unpredictable for me to say who will be good or bad

No i will watch it to see Faye and Stacey and what outfits they wear but i wont enjoy the dancing bit
