This is becoming more and more interesting tbh, I didn't expect to like it as much as I do now.
Good to see that the narrator has toned down - it was too much and quite tacky on episode 1. Also, not sure where Alice and Maya fit in all of it. There are no interviews and not even segments inbetween. I see that Alice is not even in the UK atm, so what's that all about?

It was nice to see Genelle's progress this episode with Jen and Dan. I'm rooting for her and for Alex/Kate atm (though he's borderline annoying at times).
I don't think the new circler will do well. As much as older people are more likable, it will be hard for the rest of the group to socialize with him-her. An older persona is very limiting in this tech concept, so it'll be "Aww, you're so lovely, sorry to see you go, I'm sure you're a lovely man outside" kind of blocking very soon. The other way round might work - a pensioner pretending to be a twenty something (i.e. Jen but more extreme).

The lack of a Saturday episode is random, unnecessary and a very obvious dig at C5 which backfired anyway because BB has beaten it in the ratings. The Kate/Dan/Genelle alliance really grew on me in tonight's episode and I really hope they all make it to the end. Freddie and the UKIP gay need to be OUT immediately!

Big downturn this episode, it's like the producers told them the ratings were down and they needed more showmances. Feels very contrived, well I guess it was too good to last. Clearly Genelle needed another storyline and it's like they fed her it, now suddenly she's found some interest in Dan. And as soon as she enters the new woman wants a showmance. I preferred Mitchell and Aiden to this stuff.

The politics discussions are obviously very set up to go down a particular route as well, I'd rather they keep it more real and go with what these people normally talk about and know about.

And get an older person in, instead of 30 somethings who have to pretend they're a bit younger. I don't want a showmance show, there's enough of those. The producers seem to be panicking to me, they should be brave and go for it.


The Christopher message reaction was good at least. Sad she left as she seems more natural than the 3 newbies who have entered since. The writing down aspect is very reminiscent of The Mole where contestants have to work out the truth of situations. I'd much rather it developed in that way than down the showmance show route. It's more interesting to see contestants fooled than attempts to fool the audience with fake showmances.

I think Genelle, Dan and the new ones have been told by the producers to do the flirting and it's very obvious.

Ryan's main story seems the whole psychic thing.

Some on the internet seem annoyed that the presenters went, maybe they are big fans of them, but I thought they got in the way of the first episode and looked superfluous. The contestants are meant to be the stars of reality shows.
