Well it was tweeted last week that the consolidated ratings can be over a million, so the real figure for viewers is likely to be much higher than those just watching live. It's about time we had a reality gameshow on a mainstream channel where they don't need to rely on a public vote to determine the results. The whole point of the show is that it's a game of popularity inside the circle, letting the public pick the winner would be totally futile and the antithesis of the premise

No - the wrong people will win if the public choose because we have tendencies to vote for the best looking our our favourite - when really in this the person with the best game should win.

The whole premise of The Circle is to be the most popular amongst the players of the app. By introducing a public vote is completely disregards the format. The public vote should stick to choosing who goes on the dates and that's it.

It shows a construction site for the block of flats yes, but the map was probably done a while ago before they had even developed the format. I'm pretty sure even Channel 4 aren't stupid enough to build a whole block of flats from scratch for a brand new format with no guarantee of working.

I think the worrybis people getting confused about who is who, and who is a catfish. 8 at a time is a good way to understand who everyone is and who they're pretending to be. It gives everyone sufficient airtime too.

The newbies are literally being voted out at the first possible chance there is (i.e. their first round without immunity), it's really not a level playing field at all. Plus these people have been sequestered for weeks... to only get to play like 3 days seems kinda unfair on the participants?

Idc if it means a few people are swept under the rug in the edit, everyone should be in from the start, no need for latecomers, last one standing wins.

I think it's being done more like a kind of experiment at this point than a clearly structured format. It's using different elements from deceiving, popularity and dating, I think it would be best concentrating on the deceiving part (like The Mole). We need an attempt at an intelligent reality show with tactics and strategy, UK TV ended up abandoning that.
