With so much reality tv on atm do we think BB could regain its role as the king

This upcoming series looks SO promising and is coming off the back of such a brilliant celeb series.

But there is so much more "reality" out there with every channel now seeming to jump on the reality tv train trying to have their own Love island.

There's massive competition from stuff like The X Factor, Gogglebox, First Dates, Im A Celeb and new shows coming up like Channel 4's The Circle which actually looks pretty interesting....God knows Channel 4 have been trying to find their new BB for years could this be it?

Totally agree its literally the only reality show ive stuck with for its entirety...Even through its most crappy recent years.

I'm a bit gutted the circle will clash with BB tbh, I'm interested to seeing what it's about but I'll be watching it on +1 cos BB will take priority

Yeah im gonna have to record it I see Channel 5 have rescheduled their Tuesday highlights to 22:15 to avoid its launch mind :joker:

It’s a shame because love island is vapid shallow useless trash but then again big brother kinda wanted to morph into that until the fans said NO

I honestly still don't get the appeal of Love Island ive tried to watch it and I love reality tv but its extremely boring and fake as **** yet rates over 4 million.

CBB was genuinely gripping to watch this year with the whole abuse story line which was relevant and sincere and got half the viewership.

The way I look at it is big brother is (or used to be) a showcase of reality. Love island is a distraction from reality.

there isn't much reality tv on right now :suspect: that's why it's so boring on here :bawling:
