I have faith in the current team. I got really worried a couple of times during CBB when they sounded like they were going back to their old tricks but it usually worked out well. We'll have to wait and see and not panic before we make any judgement.

To me this feels like a last roll of the dice on the public vote format, give the viewers as much control as possible to see if it moves the needle.

I will say I don't think "More public control" and "More competitive" can co-exist. You can't compete properly with imperfect information (I.e. the general public)

I agree with that, I've never understood why anyone would want the US format with a public vote...totally pointless

Maybe we'll just be voting on miscellaneous things that don't directly affect evictions? Like punishments/advantages, that kind of thing

More product placement? Either/or doesn't bother me, the less public influence the better

If they really wanted a public vote with the US format though they could quite easily make it so the HoH noms three people and the public saves one. Or just repeat the Ben vs Jermaine eviction format all series, it's not ideal but I'll take it
