She's genuinely gutted you can tell.
- Housemates feel like "classic era" housemates, all layered, genuine people.
- Slogans written all over the house - one in particular to look out for, "old school"

I'm glad Emma seems like she genuinely wants it on another channel. I hope she uses BB19 to throw maximum shade at Ben Frow and C5

Yeah, not like she's essentially just lost her job and one of her favourite TV shows. Stop crying snowflake!!! :fist:

"It would be lovely to see it come back for its 20th anniversary"
Why do I think she knows something?
Channel 5 even said that even if they reached a deal it wouldn't be on in 2019 so maybe Endemol have some plans for 2020?

I think the quote she's referring to ("to look out for") is in the garden, Nasty Nick's classic "You live by the sword, you die by the sword" when he got booted out.

It does seem like she's quite upset about it though, as if she's only been told last night or this morning. It's pretty crappy really, to give someone so little notice that they're going to lose their job and then make them go out and present a two hour live show.

Like, you can say it's only a TV show, but this is a lot of people's livelihoods. As much as we can complain about the quality of the show, it's not the fault of the presenters or the people working behind the scenes. This recent series showed that with better direction from either Endemol/Channel 5, they are able to produce brilliant TV. To have this news sprung on them like this is really disrespectful from Channel 5.

I was shocked when she said they only found out today. I'd just assumed they told everyone that works on the show a few days beforehand before the announcement today. Lmao Channel 5 really are trash.

Tbf, her contract was up this series so she would only know that at renewal anyway.

That's a pretty mean thing to say when her and Rylan have found out at the same time as everyone else.
They are more than likely both totally gutted as are many others.

One thing I am grateful about is that CH5 always stuck by hosts who were massive fans of the show

She looks so gutted </3 But I'm glad she didn't rule out hosting a revival like Davina did.

As for the stuff she said about the cast, I'll believe it when I see it.
I remember in BB14 she was like "the thing different about this year is AGE RANGE, lots of older HMs!!" and we ended with like only two people over 40 lmao

In keeping with this, who could do it next if a new platform decides for a total re-fresh?

Here for Issy to ask each housemate if they'll be a role model to their son tho before they enter

She looks a little tired and has no makeup on. Literally no different to all of the other 'What You Talking' About Willis?' videos she does.

They stuck by Emma because she's bigger than the show and they were lucky to have her.
