According to Big Blagger
Endemol Shine is understood to have had conversations with broadcasters and digital platforms about the show but has not received a formal offer
Endemol Shine is thought to have offered to reduce the cost by a significant amount, in recognition of BB’s declining audience, but this was not enough to convince C5 to reorder the show
A final decision was made on Thursday (13 September). Broadcast understands the decision came down to price, with the two parties unable to find common ground. C5’s BB contract is understood to be worth £40m a year
Endemol Shine Group is understood to be confident that Big Brother will find a new home in the UK
ESG are approaching prospective buyers for the reality format, with services such as Netflix, Amazon and YouTube Premium, and ad-funded Facebook, seen as likely candidates
I'm not watching Big Brother on bloody Facebook!

I think having it on YouTube would be cute. Have normal episodes and that available for free but with ads, and make 24/7 live feeds an option that you can pay for
Greg!

Netflix, Amazon or even YouTube would be cute! NOT Facebook though.

I could see YouTube premium going for it or something like it tbh. They need something with an established fan-base in order to get people subscribing as I'm not sure it's been too successful so far. Also, online seems the most logical place for BB to go as I doubt there's much interest from terestrial channels and would be well suited to an interactive show like Big Brother.

They have enough of their ****ty vloggers and pseudo comedians to make shows for them to last them a lifetime off of the wallets of 12 year olds

Honestly I feel like with this news and BBUSA in jeapordy it would be the perfect time to launch some kind of multinational Big Brother online, which could work on YouTube, Netflix, Amazon etc.
Don't they do a similar thing in African countries (on TV). It could be like an english-speaking version.

As I have Amazon Prime my preference would be for that.

This is how I see it going, Netflix takes up the offer, house remains based in Elstree, but now using North American rules and housemates can come from anywhere in the world.

By North American rules do you mean their format or just their streaming rules? Because I’d cry if it were the former

By the way, Big Blagger and BBSpy (I adore Matt so that's not personal) should take several seats because they have been criticizing the show like crazy for so many years yet didn't know sh!t about anything nor what production looks like, or what deals were ongoing, and now they're crying and trying to raise campaigns on Twitter.
Girl bye, you didn't help the situation at all and some of the criticism were out of place. Instead of enjoying what we had, they never really got over the C4 era and moved forward.
C5 is the one to blame, but those fan sites who though they knew stuff didn't do any favor when it came to supporting the show. Gurl bye.

If this was the case, we wouldn't have been invited up to meet with Paul Osbourne at the start of this series to put suggestions and improvements forward for the new series. Pretty much EVERYTHING we said has been put into the last series and this series, so whatever you think is probably wrong.
Channel 5 killed off Big Brother and that's their issue, we tried to keep it as popular as we could. We as sites (Big Brother 24/7 here, incase you didn't know) know more about production as we're involved and we've been involved for many years. So, we did know stuff and it's not the case of "thought we knew".

And yet I just saw BBSpy on Twitter saying maybe he was too harsh on the show. So whatever it is you think is not completely true either.
I'm just saying Big Brother didn't get the full support from everybody especially online sites who year after year complained a LOT about it, instead of as you say "put suggestions and improvements forward", at least in public.

I've been vocal about the show, but I've always tried to support it and have always praised the positives.

It’s hard to support something when the organ grinders are completely unwilling to listen to fans - for example telling live feed petitioners to forget it and move on.

Again, C5 is the main responsible for what happened to the show. But I feel like a lot of fansites brought way too much negativity instead of enjoying the most we had even if it meant having to adapt?
Because to be honest, I would rather have 100 more series on C5 than no series at all. And that's what it comes down to.
