Neglected as a child and seemingly as an adult too if we are to believe his family situation. His mother hasn’t deemed it necessary to see him with the excuse of being in LA. So she tips up for this...this show merits her presence...interesting...

That's not an excuse. There's housemates you can 'love to hate' and enjoy like Lee Ryan, Julie Goodyear, etc. but series where there's someone there just to make people hate them usually ruin said series with their twattiness
