The diary room chair

I loved the fact they changed the house so much since CBB ended 4 days ago but c'mon the diary room chair sucks!

Its such an iconic part of classic BB to reveal a new chair and they just put some sticky back wall paper on it...It looks so cheap.

The CBB one looked tacky but the new graphics and lighting make this one look so much better

Yeah this was my only disappointment from the night tbh (apart from there not being a house tour)

I'm kinda glad they stuck with it cause it's my favourite DR in a long time, very reminiscent of BB6

It was less exciting than when we saw it the first time though. That's been the downside of the whole 'at least civilian will be the last' trade-off, in that the new house/layout etc was all for CBB :(

I wasn't 'whelmed with the house tour but atleast it looked live with a tour like effect where as in the early Channel 5 years Brian used to just show press pictures on the screen and saying "Theres a bar, a pool and a comfy bedroom".

It may look fine to you but were you actually excited when you saw it like previous BB series.

Its civilian BB and the reveal of he BB chair is a staple and a classic detail of the show.

Its not original and is just the chair from 4 days ago with a bit of wall paper on it.

I didn’t expect a brand new chair for a the series, so I wasn’t bothered. Plus, both summer series have always had the same chair, minus a colour change or a new background. I get your point, but I’m not too fussed.

You mean summer CBB series I expect a brand new chair for the civilian series especially when its a completely different concept.

Yeah but the CBB doesn't count as they generally just add stars to the graphics the the civilian series should be priority when creating a theme which they have this year so I expected a diary room chair to match it.

It looks cheap and there's been no thought put into it.

Just my opinion.

And I agree with you. A new diary room would have been nice, but given the quality of the launch it was a minor disappointment for me.

The CBB one looked like it had awful wallpaper with a join line in the middle. This one looks like lighting so they've improved it.

:laugh2: The chair is exactly the same just a different colour , i expected something completely different but all they've done is change the colour scheme.

I miss the days when the chair was goregous aka bb7 to bb9

I remember not being to impressed and thinking the gold thing looking out of place... I need to see it again.
