They kind of look similar as a duo.
Plus they have a similar friendship: basically as the 'outsider alternatives' to the main crowd.

But..

Chanelle was very extrovert and silly.
I think Zoe will actually turn out to be quite moody with occasional funny moments. (i could be wrong!) Mind you - Chanelle had a temper on her too!

Raph was intelligent and harmless but he was quite cold and robotic, and kept his true self very close to his chest.
Cameron is also intelligent but he's very real, open-book and easy to read. I think the public will warm to him.

I think the public wanted to warm to Raph more, but he was just a bit too remote and emotionally closed off.
