Quite sad but not an unusual story. Lots of kids had little or no affection growing up. I can't remember any affection from my mum, she never said I love you or was a hugger, I never thought bad of her or felt particularly unloved, she just wasn't that kind of person. Only time she ever told me was when she was dying. With my son, on the other hand she was soppy as **** and poured love on him. With Anamelia, I think she says things for effect, not buying those tears either.

Hmmm well it's not an excuse but it is a likely reason. She's an angry narcissist and one of the most common causes of that is growing up without much affection from family.

Everything about her seems too rehearsed to me. What you have said may be so.....I grew up with limited affection and don't believe I'm narcissistic but I guess that can be a cause.....but anamelia probably knows that's a root cause of narcissism, did that conversation happen before or after kenaly pulled her on everything being me me me?

...she was born and raised in Brazil, I think..?...and possibly in poverty...so everything she says is quite plausible and I think probably true...but I would guess that a Brazilian single mother would be working her body to the bone as well and probably didn’t have the energy for affection that some childhoods would have had...so her childhood probably didn’t stand out as being anything ‘unique’ in comparison to those around her...except that she obviously had a single parent, which would have made it a little more difficult, I would think...that’s not an excuse from taking the conversation from the others when talking about their own families and the close bonds they have...

Oh I agree - she is playing the victim now for sympathy votes before she faces nomination. She might not even be aware she is doing it - she does remind me of a 4 or 5 year old in general.

Im torn as to whether I want her leave because she is a talking point and I think Sian is very bland and Im not bothered if she goes.

Id like to see more of Anamelia - I wish she got to hear others perspectives like she did tonight - again and again and again and maybe just take note of what people saying. We all have sob stories so I thought that was pretty cheap of her. Infront of a whole group - not close friends... so showy.

but anyway - Brazil is now not considered a developing country - there is rich and poor -

Brazil is now a member of the BRICS - Brazil, Russia, India and China - these countries will be richer than the west within 50 years. This is from my sisters economics studies.

People do through around the personality disorders these days like they re a dime a dozen - they re actually VERY rare and theres no way a true narc would have made it through - she is just an attention seeker - you can be an attention seeker without being a Narc. I think she has had unstable attention given to her - so she doesnt have a calm and relaxed contentment within herself.

She doesnt know which angle to play to get the spotlight - but thats all she is doing, playing. This is a game for her. I think all she wants is to get the past the eviction.

A real narc, if you watch some documentary's about them - cant function at all in social groups.
