I think the thick act he seems to put on is part of his gameplan. Intelligent people, on a show like BB, should not let on that they are intelligent. For some reason the audience seem to love thick people. Plus everyone thinking you are thick makes manipulation so much easier.

Put it this way; did you expect to see him playing chess? Let alone quite clearly beating Cameron effortlessly at chess? He was playing it down saying either of them could still win, but Cameron could see he was out matched.

I'm not saying that being able to play chess necessarily makes someone a genius, but for me it did show that there's a lot more underneath the game face.

I agree that he's partially emulating Bear but I still disagree on the chess. It's not the hardest game in the world, but the fact that he has played and knows how to play hints that there's more going on than most would have assumed on launch night. You can't deny that surely, Ammi.
