So I'm catching up on Sundays ep - Cameron's whole conversation with Big Brother in the Diary Room, was that him trying to say he's gay or did I read that all wrong?

Yeah, I think so. It reminded me of before I came out; intentionally dancing around the words "Im gay" out of fear that it couldn't be rescinded once said. I know it seems so stupid but I can totally relate to Cameron and i feel for him

I think he could confide in Lewis f, he would be supportive.

While he didn't actually come out and say it, We all know what he was referring to. His family will have watched it, so they kinda know anyway...he may as well go the whole distance and just tell the hm's.

Something is troubling me a bit this year tbh. I got a VERY STRONG impression when he was saying all of that in the diary room, that he was under the (naive, yes, but still) impression that it was not going to be aired and was between him and BB. I wondered how that could be, as they surely know that everything in the diary room might be aired... until Kay was in there last night and the "BB on duty" QUITE CLEARLY implied that she could talk to them privately. She was more on the ball and said something like "Yeah you say that but you can air anything can't you" and, of course, they did air the entire conversation.

Makes me wonder if they implied to Cameron that his not-so-well-disguised chat about his sexuality was just between him and Big Brother and then just went ahead and aired the whole thing. He was talking about repercussions etc. whilst effectively coming out on television. It didn't make sense.

maybe Cian is only "gay for the stay" and will turn back when he gets home to the green rolling hills of Ireland?

Though Glyn waited until he was back in the "real" world before coming out.

Cian admitted he was gay in his VT

Not to go SJW on you but in the future, "admit" isnt the best word. Just say "talked about"/"confirmed"/"said"

Admit implies some kind of confession to a wrongdoing

Well he hasn't suddenly realised his sexuality. He just chose not to mention it in his VT and to his fellow housemates. He's made viewers aware of it now so he has a storyline of when he will come out to the House. I doubt they will be surprised - they will certainly be supportive.

I think that is what he was trying to say, but who knows. I found him a strange one, and honestly think he is sexist towards women

I'm still not entirely convinced he is gay , he talked in riddles . maybe it's just that type of conversation that makes him feel prudish. He could be from a traditional family . Unless he's still confused? .

I personally DON'T but it's become a big talking point , it's probably another way to find out who Cameron really is as he holds his cards close to his chest .

I'm not getting this ?? He has been so obviously 'gay' from day 1 . He's great do we really care.

Cameron fancies him and Cians feeling it , you may just be great together , dunno til you try.

I commented on this in anther thread about 'that' diary room visit:
"To me it really sounded like he wants to admit his sexuality. But I don't think it should have been shown. He didn't outright say, "I'm gay". But all the words sounded like that was what he was saying.
So to me it looks like the producers have outed him as a gay man. He's not comfortable saying it yet. However, BB were quite happy to show the Diary Room conversation. That can't be undone, yet he's not ready for it.

In my view that Dairy Room conversation should NOT have been shown. "

Makes me wonder is he that naive that he thought it wouldn't be shown. Or a strategy he came into the house with ?

Surely he's not that stupid & naive ,he knows his DR moment WOULD get shown :suspect: . He never came out the closet though , he's still trying to be vague . I don't know if it's to do with his age or because it's his game plan stategy.
