everyone is saying it's such a great series but i'm finding it such a bore and a drag ?? this whole lewis vs lewis drama is so boring, lewis g doesn't even do anything anymore and he's still whinging, and that is literally it for the highlights show, lewis whinging and the competitions which were fun at first but now they take up so much airtime we don't get to see as much of the others and find their personalities, i don't know if people like ken, brooke, sian are just genuinely quiet or they just don't get enough airtime.

they don't have any real explosive housemates and not much drama is really happening, the female casts are flops as for as we can see and the drama we are getting is shet :shrug: throw in a power trip !!!

what natural drama ? someone attempting to be one of the most hated cbb hms and is failing at even doing that ? like that is literally the only drama apart from kay and cameron who will just continue dropping comments behind each others backs.

i don't mind the coin thing but it's sort of taking over the series and becoming more of a game show than a social experiment, we spend so much time on those tasks it hinders getting to know the characters !! like what does sianham eat for breaky !!! the people want answers

I prefer Love Island now ( I know I know its same old same old but I just find the characters better) The fact that BB was delayed till now has also taken away from my 'looking forward to it' I still will watch it but hard to pick a fave now Ana is gone She was the only one I found interesting in a zany cookie way

Week two thus far hasn't been as good as the first, we've already lost the best housemate of the first week and god forbid could be on course to lose another (if Lewis F goes), and so on and so forth. It's a disaster waiting to happen, call me psychic~ but it's going to do a BBUS 20 - peak early then completely fall apart

Yeah I find it sad on the first few days I had amazing hopes for it but most of the cast are a bit bland there are some gems though. Last time this happened was bb16 it started off well with a strong cast but then they got bland and 4in 4 out happened. Maybe that needs to happen again...

Isabelle wasn't a bore, none of the finalists were - they were just middle-of-the-road and mediocre

BB18 is the classic example of a series that was spoiled by VTE, it started off so well and then they reverted back and it became inconsistent. Any time a few housemates stepped up to save the series, they got evicted - Sue and Simone's evictions were ****ing infuriating. Both should've been in the final, along with Chanelle, all of them played a bigger role than the other finalists IMO

The series is losing me a little bit, but I tend to give it a few episodes to pick back up... Many of the housemates and conversation are turning out to be so puddle deep...

And yes, the sex commentary is boring as well. I'm not here for who sleeps with who because most of these folk are so ridiculously unsexy, uncharismatic and lame personality-wise to me that I could care less what sex dungeon they frequent on the outside... I would still be far more titillated by watching paint dry... and it just drags on...

Why do people rate 18 so high? Apart from the Big Fight and Isabelle, it was awful to me.

Terrible tasks, terrible production and would say 75% of the episodes were boring, after the big fight followed the week where was probably the most dull of any series with the hippy task. The only thing that kept the week going was the vote leak where Isabelle ended up being saved and Sav evicted.

We had the likes of Sam and Ellie, to me the worst showmance ever, miserable Joe, Andrew who was pointless etc...

The strength was that pretty much the best 4 people got to the final i guess.

The series concept is good, the tasks are good. The casting is weak. There is no age diversity and the female casting is very poor. Watching Kay and Sian is like studying belly button fluff. Sure they are both pretty but that doesn't make a fantastic, lively TV show. None of the other girls are much better. Tomasz probably has it in the bag because he's LGBT rather than a great housemate. Which makes the whole watching experience slightly pointless since you know at the outset who will win. And he really needs to learn to wash his hair occasionally.

Big characters going, lots of floaters. It could end up being a series that relies on tasks to create drama rather than drama coming naturally from the HMs

No I dont think they do - its taking quite a while to get into the swing of things - last years was a great series and it also took a while although we did have the legend Sukvinda at the beginning -

But this year its just very slow - there are some shy people who arent going to be fully confident until people like Lewis G are gone.

Alot depends on this weeks eviction. Lewis L is my favourite - if he goes and Lewis G stays theres a positive and a negative

- well its the last series so Im glad its over as its terrible now
- well that boring idiot (Lewis G) has gone and now the dynamic will change for the better

I dont think new housemates is a bad idea and it will definately happen at some point but I think the producers want them to build friendship bonds before they send new housemates to potentially shatter them.

Izabel the winner last year was a new Housemate - and the might ''Lotan'' whispered - "she will be the first to go the public hate a housemate like her'' and brilliantly she went on to win!

So I hope we get this sort of series and Im willing to be patient and hope it happens. Im not finding anyone funny this year - Cian is nice and he has a good sense of humour, but no one to really bounce it off from.
But like I said Lewis F is my favourite so far.
