Ok so let’s preface this by saying at bare minimum he’s been one of the better housemates and has brought relatively more entertainment so far.

But outside of that what’s wrong with a socially awkward, yung dewd coming to revelations about sexuality and coming to terms with the world with other people? I’ve been kinda harsh on him before but I also feel like I was looking at him through the wrong lens. He’s young and still has a lot of growing to do and even with that in consideration he’s quite a novelty. Straight talking, funny at times. I don’t really get the hate

He’s just so contrived. The whole ‘coming out’ story arc he’s coming at just isn’t interesting me to watch, it just seems like all part of a bigger game plan.

He has little to no redeeming qualities. He’s arrogant, rude, self-righteous, has some weird superiority complex and I think he’s quite misogynistic too. He clearly is wanting a ‘lads group’ and shows little to no interest in being friends or talking to the girls.

He may be worse than Lewis G even. Absolute trash HM.

..I don’t hate him, I don’t even dislike him, Elliot... but there are aspects of him I’m really not gelling with at all ...and find it hard to find respect for...his saying Kay could be being perceived as Lewis’ bitch because she laughed at him ...and Cameron said she was encouraging him which was very harsh...as he’s also laughed at Lewis, so he needs a little self awareness also because his laughter could have been perceived as being his bitch as well in the exact same way...Isaac has also laughed and encouraged Lewis from the beginning....did Cameron ever infer Isaac was his bitch or could have been perceived as..?...nope, only Kay...and with the views in his vid he appears to have regarding females...he’s not someone I can find much respect for atm...

I don'\t question his coming out story - it's the clash with Kay that really gets on my nerves. He's getting too cocky and too self assured and has shown a very nasty side to him. Don't like that and utterly disappointed with him.

Modern third wave feminism does have its issues, it might not quite be "bullshit" but to class it as such doesn't imply woman-hatred, especially from some kid trying to be funny. Or is there a part of the video which suggests he does hate women?

He's not a woman hater in the video, his comedy and approach is very annoying. I agree with points he made but it was tiresome to watch him .

But I don't think he hates women , why do you keep forgetting he likes Zoe & Brooke ? .

But I think he prefers male company ,he probably thinks he's cool hanging around with the "alpha makes" .

...I don’t think he’s a woman hater, Oliver...but I do think he doesn’t have a balanced opinion of women either...the main thing about the vid for me..?..is that he refers to feminist women as ‘they’...as if feminism only represents and acknowledges equality for women..and as if femists are only women, when many men support feminism as well, I mean why would either gender not support it....but there are some things that aren’t equal for men also, of course...and as you say, one of the things he’s vocal in defence of feminism..?...women should stay at home rather than pursue careers if they want to..?...yeah absolutely that’s true ...and he reinforced that quite vocally and yet for the women who do pursue careers..?...he kind of skipped over that bit quite quickly with ‘women have equality in the workplace so hush up and stop your whinging...now ‘let’s skip on quickly to my rant’...:laugh:...I mean, ooooops....he only really ‘ranted’ about specific things that seemed to fit with his own thoughts, so much was brushed over very quickly..(...but not very smoothly..)...

...anyways, I think I’m being a bit harsh on him tbh...I really don’t think he does see women in general as equals if I’m honest...but he did mention something about school at the beginning...so he was probably quite young at the time of the vid..?...and just maybe wanting to seem ‘edgy and controversial’ as well...again, a little bit of a strange view about edginess...he’ll be edgy enough in being himself and being true to himself...no other edge is required to be ‘edgy’...a very overrated thing to aspire to...
