View Full Version : Tonight's eviction - a victory for Classic BB?

I might be reading too far into this, but I felt like tonight's eviction actually marked a kind-of shift in the BB viewership & show direction.

Instead of the typical C5 formula of a thick, flop reality wannabe being saved "for entertainment", we managed to keep Lewis F; a housemate who is complex, interesting, and actually has depth.

I'm so glad the viewers saw past the archetypical 'lads will be lads' trope. I was really worried that we'd have another Bear or Helen on our hands.

Or just a victory for non-twats

I can accept this alternative interpretation :hehe:

They did promise us "normal" civilian housemates.

And Anamelia and Lewis G did not really match that description.

So there may be something in it.

Our Anamelia was a normal down to earth chick who just happened to collect magic crystals!

I thought this too! It's like the housemates with any reminiscence of C5 casting are being booted one by one :skull:

I honestly didn't see it tbh. The only redeeming quality was her feud w/ Lewis G.

I get what you're saying JoshBB, and overall my favourite stayed so I'm happy on that front.

However BB shouldn't be allowing the big characters to be leaving so early on, and especially not up against each other in a one on one.

After watching Lewis G tonight, he was almost likeable and genuine.

I thought when he came into the house and when he was at his worst, he was definitely reliant on alcohol or substances during those times.

He wasn't like it in yesterday's programme or tonight. I think either he had run out of stimulants and his true self shone through.

I am glad the Lewis G show is at an end.

Me too. I'm gonna enjoy the show so much more now.
