Omfg what a line :skull: it’s kinda true she can’t complain about melodramatics while having sagas about already processed meat (not to add the 4 times she’s asked to walk so far)

Don't forget

"you cry when somebody eats a chicken nugget"

Lewis REALLY is just the gift that keeps on giving. I swear if he doesn't win

I am not a vegan but I am a vegetarian and the meat industry upsets me too, have you seen how chicken are treated, for example, in McDonalds? makes me incredibly sad just thinking about it.

Tbf there's a big difference between a plastic chicken and an actual dead one.

As for Lewis' comment, thought it was pretty stupid in all honesty. People being mocked for empathy towards animals is nothing new but it's still tiresome.

Very childish of him, pathetic little weasily bitch that he is.

yeah, just wait till he is up for eviction against a reasonably popular house mate, he will be toast. It will all come back to bite him.

I'm not even vegetarian but found his comment stupid. There's every reason to cry over how we treat animals, those we eat and those we don't.
What Amy, Lostie, Parm and bots say really.

You KNOW the morally outraged would be finding it absolutely hilarious if it was reversed and Kay said it to Lewis :laugh2:

Yeah - people are totally ignorant of it. You cant kill animals every single day all day and not be some sort of psychopath.
You can look up on youtube almost any animal and they have incredible personality's - when meat substitutes are available there is no excuse to eat meat.
Its dead flesh.

You do realise that the animals are bred for meat? So if you stopped that they wouldn't be born

Either way animals have no life.

I am sick of vegans trying to pretty much radicalise everyone into their thought process

I’m vegan so I get it I just think it’s very melodramatic when you look at it logically and let’s face it it’s not like Kay is the most down to earth soul in the world with her multiple theatrical breakdowns

U do realise that most people don't kill the animals they eat themselves? like,,,,,,,

If Kay has a meltdown at something so tame , imagine how she'd be on IAC . She'd probably do a Gillian McKeith and faint :bored: .

I'm vegan too and I found Kay crying over the fake chickens to be a mess... My comment was more about Amy Jade being made out to be a hypocrite because she dragged Kay for the fake chicken thing while also herself being upset by the meat industry. Both situations are hardly the same and it's really stupid that someone would even try and make it out like they're in anyway similar.

If I did then its a PLASTIC chicken. Getting upset thinking of the suffering animals go through isn't irrational though just compassionate.

Amy Jade

Oh wait you were coming for me for saying someone crying over a PLASTIC chicken is being messy but understanding her being upset at the way REAL animal is threated in some way makes me a hypocrite?

If you fail to see the massive difference in a bit of plastic and a living breathing creature that feels pain and fear then you are very, very silly.

Then in that context, I hope that it also covers leather, in coats, shoes and furniture, dog food, animal feeds, gravy and all the other derivatives that are used.

Are you asking about my ethics?

Be glad to discuss animal welfare and explain my thoughts if you want but if this is just you trying bait me into admitting I wear leather so you can feel like you can one up me I won't waste my time.

So, the compassion for animals can only be thrown in meat eaters' faces because your attitude is different about wearing animals?

It is all relevant, but I was serious, don't use the word bait, please when my intention was genuine.

Is this directed at me?

Because I actually do not wear leather either I avoid animal byproducts and practise vegetarianism.

Animal products are in make up, shampoos and toiletries too.

Not only in food.
