COMING OUT as a Lesbian !!!?? , would he of gotten the same amount of sympathy ,fuss and support? :idc: .

And before anyone mentions Anamelia & Kay those 2 were not gay , they were open minded / curious .

I'd imagine so, yes. What's the point in creating "if" scenarios though?

If it was a girl who came out most of this forum would be in tears

As someone mentioned women don't get the same treatment when it comes to this type of stuff .

Well we'll never know, because Cameron isn't a woman, he's a man. So that's that on that.

Tbh I reckon we'd see this Forum be less critical if it was a woman coming out.

I'd treat him exactly the same way.
I still think the way he's gone about this whole thing is attention seeking & calculating.

Do you really though?

Or is it your strange hatred of him that is clouding your judgement because if you thought that was fake last night then to be honest with you people will just laugh at anything you have to say.

Really? I've always thought leabian women are always taken less seriously when it comes to their sexuality than gay men are. Unless its a really butch girl I still see the "oh its just a silly phase" "she just wants attention" "she just needs a good man" narratives floating about

A ridiculous statement. Plus, he isn’t a woman so you can stop with the fantasising I guess?

Man or woman, in 2018 i'm quite surprised by all the fuss. As a straight guy, I just can't identify with the issues Cameron is having. Has he been persecuted or treated differently because of it? I have no idea. For me, the only person making a big deal out of it was Cameron, with Lewis hanging on to his coat tails. If he were to have identified or expressed internal conflicts or whatever, I could perhaps have understood it more, but there was none of that at all

And please don't start me talking about the ridiculous party

When supermodel icon Jade Martina Lynch came out as polyamorous she was laughed at iirc

the reaction of the HMs says it all

LF was treating it as if Cameron was just about to walk to the gallows

Cian gave him good advice, don't let your sexuality define you

exactly!

just like everyone saying that they'd wanted Brooke and Lewis F. to get together even though she said she's not attracted to men at all

I think it would've had the same effect if it was similarly genuine and heartbreaking/inspiring as with Cameron. Nice reach tho

Cian was right when he said that coming outs not such a big deal these days. Ok in some countries its still difficult or even illegal, but in the UK no.

It's not seen as a big thing as a whole...but to the individual it still is. Why don't people get that?..

Not really the same thing is it?

Coming out of gay and "I like multiple partners".

The same sort of mechanisms apply for polyamory tho, and I’d go a step further and say in the first world there is less understanding about this then there is about homosexuality. There’s a lot of prejudice about people who do this too

Liam-
09-10-2018, 08:49 PM
I wouldn’t say prejudice exactly, people might not understand it because it’s out of the ordinary, but you wouldn’t find someone in a polyamorous relationship getting sacked or not being served somewhere, it’s a whole different ball game
