How is Lewis F the favourite to win?

I've only just started watching recently, so bear with me if I say anything that's been discussed/repeated. But someone please explain how. on. earth. Lewis F is favourite to win?

He's a dour curmudgeon with barely any redeeming features. The only thing that would seem to make him happy is if every single person in the house acted the way he wants them to. Not to mention the fact that his voice is monotoned and dull, which makes watching him even worse.

Have I missed something from the past 20/30 days? Genuinely curious :p

He has been shown more than many of them, so I understand it. Though last night he lost a lot of fans...in one episode.

People seem to find his diary room rants funny (I agree), think he has a good sense of humour (again I agree, but he very rarely seems to actually use it and its more moan moan moan these days), the facebook crowd think he is goodlooking so thats enough for many of them, and most of all..hes not boring and doesn't sit on the fence. Some people find his friendship with Cameron endearing also.

If he did not have a very clear issue with women (if you just started the series, this won't be apparent yet, though his treatment of Anamelia was abysmal, having an issue with one woman doesn't mean you are a misogynist. When its a lot of women..and the only time you have ever argued with a bloke was when you were plastered and even then you didn't talk down to him..more..explode at him then still manage to have a go at a woman too!), and lightened up for more than an hour at a time...he would possibly be my fave. Hes doing something. He annoys the **** out of me but he has done more than Brooke, Cian, Sian and Zoe combined.

I totally agree with you. I am totally sick of him. However him 'helping' Cameron in his 'coming out' and SELFLESSLY (haha) giving up some of his coins for Cam to have a party etc will make him popular with much of the public. I actually quite liked him at the start but now he is doing my FU CKing head in

Don't odds only change based on what bets are placed though? In a winners market thats been going 4 weeks, I can't see it changing that much in a day from being a large fave for a while?

..he does have redeeming features, Braden..:laugh:..which is why he’s probably favourite to win, rather than least favourite to win...he’s quite a caring person and I don’t see any malice in him ...but you’re right, it’s all on his terms and what he ‘approves of’ and ‘disapproves of’ and what his tolerances and intolerances are...(...which are very rigid and uncompromising...)...many of the other housemates show such an understanding of him and make allowances for who he is because most essentially like him...but he sadly doesn’t show any understanding or make any allowances for the vibe of others...and he has no self awareness of that ..that he himself is guilty also of the same things he criticises others for....he seems to either switch off completely from his surroundings and the things that irritate and annoy him...or those irritating and annoying things intensify within him to the point of volcanic eruption...(...with paranoia side effects..)....he’s an agonised soul for sure...no middle ground balance with him...

..one thing I would really like to see in him which he never shows..?..is any self responsibility of his own part in confrontations, conflicts and arguments etc...there are things he can be right about of the fault of others involved...and he points this out after all has calmed and others usually except their blame etc...but he brushes over his own contributions and blame with the mindset and reasoning of...’yeah but I only shouted/said that/acted that way/became annoyed etc...because you did or said this or that or talked over me...YOU MADE ME ....SO YOUR FAULT...his mind twists everything for the other person or other people to always be the only ones with fault...they have to take on his own self responsibility as well as their own responsibility or own wrongs...until he realises that his behaviour equally always has a self choice regardless of any ‘blame’ with others contributing to a situation or escalation etc...he’ll sadly always be an agonised soul and sadly also not be judged so much by his sweeter and nicer haracter traits...he’ll mostly be judged by how he behaves and the negative effect it often has...

It's why people watching like him and will vote for him, once supporters can get behind their favourites with their voting.

I may dislike a housemate but to hate someone on a TV show, that would take a massive amount of effort on my part which just couldn't happen.

He has entertained me, more than the others.
For me, him and Cameron have by Lewis ranting in the diary room and Cameron's grumpiness at times he's not so all the time.

I have laughed so much at those 2 and yeah, even choked up at the way and sensitive guiding way Lewis helped Cameron open up.

I've seen more that is admirable in those 2 than in any other series, for me anyway.
If ever 2 housemates already warranted to be the last 2 standing in a series, for me that is Lewis and Cameron.

I again endorse however Vanessa's view, this has been and is Lewis's series for all his twists and turns.

I think his own family and friends are seeing sides to Lewis they had no clue about but probably explaining a lot of things from the past , i think they will know him much more on leaving ! For this alone it was worth being hated by many cos he'll be more at one with himself .

..yeah he does know he has issues, Vanessa..but the thing is for me, his issues create issues for others and this is about a whole house accommodating for and being tolerant of everyone...not just one person...the housemates on the whole are very understanding and tolerant of his issues...yet he doesn’t seem to return any understanding or tolerance with anyone else, he’s completely intolerant of what doesn’t interest him or what he doesn’t want to do....(other than his tolerance of Cameron because Cameron sees nothing negative in him at all and is all worshipping..)...


...so much on the forum I have seen non fans of Lewis as being thought of as not having understanding or empathy or compassion or whatever etc...well they do have understanding and compassion and empathy etc as much as anyone else does.....but it’s just that it doesn’t only extend to Lewis and focus on him...it extends the the other housemates who have to live with him and who are trying to create a positive experience for themselves in the house...

I stuggle to understand what he is saying, he talks way too fast. To be honest i prefered lewis G, he was way more entertaining. How he is favorite i have no idea.
