View Full Version : Lewis: Do you like Lewis F?
I've noticed a few of his fans going off of him and his actions recently have been very polarising... so I'm wondering, what's your opinion on him?

Intensely dislike, so "hate" on this poll.
He's just a toxic, contradicting, self-centred, whiny idiot.

Love him...not literally as he's not my type..I love him for being such a great housemate.

I've put "hate" as he's a mentally unstable idiot with anger issues , and his paranoia is tiresome. He's very negative and he's always moaning . And he's also an egomaniac ! who makes everything about himself!!! :bored: .

For the past two weeks I've strongly disliked him so that's how I currently feel so I voted that way.
I do think that my opinion of him would improve again if Cameron was to leave before him as tbf to Lewis F he is a huge character for the series so I should be able to like him but I can't at the moment.

Cannot stand him as a person. He is the biggest hypocrite in there, he does nothing but moan, hes just miserable, and misogynistic. As a housemate hes OK. But its getting tedious now. I want either him or Cameron to leave, as I figure the other would lighten up after a few days of moping about as if someone died.

this (to both)
He was probably one of my favourite C5 males within the first 2 weeks but afterwards it just became monotonous. It's too draining 24/7 imo to see his behaviour

I understand what you mean. I used to like him and found him interesting. Unfortunately, he is now only showing the negative side of his character, and he has become too draining to enjoy watching for me.
The producers are focusing too much on Lewis and Cameron now, and perhaps if we saw less of them and their bitching and more of other housemates, he wouldn't have become so tedious.

he's a douche. his treatment of kay (who I didn't even like that much) was pathetic. and he has a deep dislike of females.
..he’s an interesting watch and he does have likeable aspects about him...but it’s really hard to like him when he’s so uncompromising of others and their personalities and the things they want to do and talk about etc...yet those others that he judges so harshly are so compromising of him and his personality...most make so many allowances for him but he makes no allowances himself for most other people...he has no self awareness, no self criticism, no sense of self responsibility...it’s always the other person’s fault for upsetting his equilibrium and negativity...Isabella and Cian shouldn’t have intervened when he was annoyed with Akeem...everyone should allow him to rant and tantrum and behave however he wants because he’s finding this all very hard...no thought for how hard he makes it for everyone else who have to spend time with him...he’s said himself how he doesn’t like being around people who he doesn’t feel on the same ‘level’ with..but what about the people/housemates who do like to be around people and who don’t uncompromisingly judge ‘levels’ in the same way...does he consider the cloud of negativity he creates for them...nope, he judges them if they don’t just accept and feel ‘awwwww, but that’s just our Lewis, though’...in the real world, very few people would make allowances for the uncompromising and judgemental personality of Lewis, which is probably why he finds it hard to be around people...but he takes none of that self responsibility, yet judges others for the slightest thing they may do that annoys or upsets him...
...for someone who is such a deep thinker, there has never been a thought of ‘why have I been nominated, what is it about ME’...just that he’s living in a reptile house...always them, always them, always them...no self scrutiny at all...

Terrible housemate, monotonous, repetitive, self centered, no self awareness, not entertaining in the slightest as its the same old rubbish he spouts over and over, his treatment of women is very suspect, and i think he is so impressed with himself he thinks he could turn Brooke

jumping in the pool and being a brat by ignoring safety warnings is not humourous, if a 10 year old was doing that, no one would be impressed
i remember back to the first highlight show when Lewis took issue with Anamelia for expressing a sexual preference and he went on and on and on and on. I thought the guy was a contrived twat then and my opinion hasn't changed since.

Yes I really like him.
I have found him really interesting to watch in the ups and downs of his temperament.
I've seen nothing to dislike, there is nothing malicious about him but he's faced 2, unfair in my view, elements really picking away at him in a hostile way.
Namely Lewis G, and then the odious Hussain now.
I love his close friendship with Cameron too, they are both like a volatile double act together, one serious and grumpy a fair bit and the other ranting in frustration and exploding into, again in my view, humerous rants.
Then there's the demonstration of loyalty from Cameron and Lewis to each other which is really heartening to see as they do look out for each other.
Lewis is clearly deep inside sensitive and the way he's helped his friend in there is totally commendable.
His generosity too has shone through too.
So for me in this series, Lewis F and Cameron both singly and together have entertained me, won my admiration for their great friendship and have made this series really good to watch.
Lewis F for me is one of the very best ever housemates on BB.
I'm also glad he was able to find a good loyal friend in there to be alongside him too.
Epic.

This is a hard question for me to answer because my opinion pretty much changes by the night. If he's righteous or authentic about something, he's great to watch. But if he's this scheming overthinking overbearing two-faced hypocrite like he was last night, then I end up disliking him. At the moment I dislike him because he's the same moany ****e every night. It's getting tiresome and I'll be raging even more if/when he survives on Friday over Tomasz AND Hussain

He's fantastic. There's a long tradition in our society, the "angry young man" and the "rebel without a cause", and Lewis fits this to a tee. This stereotype has been the theme of many great movies and books, and Lewis, with his stunning good looks and attitude, could create a place for himself in the reality show world. An angry rebel without the nastiness of a Woods or a Bear.

Love him or not, his contribution to the programme has been momentous.
From his rants, one liners, support for Cameron, couldn't care less attitude, motor mouthed diatribes and funny moments, he certainly has had the forums talking about him.
He has been and is, the star of BB19. You don't have to like him to admit this is the case.
The only other housemate to even come a far distant second was Lewis G and he didn't last more than a couple of weeks.

I absolutely agree with everything you've said here, Ammi. This is a really insightful post.
I find him such a contradiction. He is obviously an intelligent man, and he shows such insight into others at times, as well as some self awareness. However, at the same time he seems severely lacking in any emotional intelligence. Emotionally, he seems stuck at that age when children believe they are centre of the universe and that the whole world revolves around them. He is extremely self-centred and volatile, and would definitely be a very difficult person to be around in the real world.
