Saw this on another forum and totally agree with it...

"The C word is "A tool to demonise women"? but calling somebody any of the insults that describe male genatalia is fine? Behave! :D I'm female . I believe in equality. Yeah there's still a way to go, and the press can be absolute ...(hmm which insult is acceptable?) but overreacting to things like somebody using the C word to both men AND women doesnt help anything. IMO THATS part of the problem!

I hate the way two people of opposite sexes can't even have an argument/disagreement on BB without somebody labelling the man as a bully/woman hater/aggressor purely because he's male. We'll never have proper equality while people still do that. Out there in the real worId I feel the same... that I'm female, treat me the same as you would if I were a bloke. If you disagree with me feel free to argue with me , if you think I'm acting like a *******t call me a *******t, just like you might say I'm acting like a *******k or a d***k etc. Just because we're female doesn't mean we have to be treated with kid gloves"

The point that is missed is that Sian did nothing to deserve it, its not like it was said in the heat of the moment

Forget the sexism argument.
The word was still extreme ,and Sian hasn't done anything to be called that . That's why people are shocked :nono: .

If Sian had been calling him names and harassing him then fair enough, but she has nothing to do with Lewis. She stays out of his way and he still has to bash her for no reason. Lewis is vile ! .

And I was so tired of hearing balloon lips on BOTS from Geordie shore defend him , just because he fancies him :bored: .

The point is, she didn't get it.
It was said in a discussion about her 'not' to her.
She has never heard it from Lewis.
He has not called her it directly.

Contrast that with Hussain yelling at Isabella with others present and near reducing her to tears.

There is a massive difference.

What has Hussain got to do with Lewis calling Sian a ****? Also lets not pretend he hasn't screamed at and made a women cry in there.

:joker: I guess that makes it okay then seen as Lewis had no balls to say it to Sian's face ?? .

Everyone in that house is a "snake" to him except him , Cameron &Zoe ! .
He wastes his time just moaning & ranting about others housemates who haven't harmed him . He's s tragic bitch that needs professional help  .

Give that person a pat on the back, I agree with every single word of it, no matter what happens in the house, as soon as a man has a raw with a woman some people start handing those types of labels about, it happens every year, it’s a joke.

The word **** is one of those that alter in offensiveness depending on how its said. People in my neck of the woods will say...."you daft ****" and its almost a term of endearment. However, spat with venom, as Lewis did, and it takes on a whole other level. Its not offensive because its calling a woman a part of the female anatomy its because of the level of venom in a word that, lets face it, a lot of people find THE most offensive swear word.

Lewis is certainly no angel.....he has reduced more than one housemate to tears but I doubt Sian would be that affected as she herself dislikes Lewis so its a bit of "sticks and stones"' if someone she liked and respected said it, it would be more hurtful.

It was jus another bitchy convo between Lewis and Cameron......boring

Just like Sian doesn't have the "balls" to say whatever she had to say to his face either...All she does it sit puffing away at her f a g s and moan about Lewis. I really don't know why she went in, because she's as exciting as watching a dog scooting around the floor with pinworms.

Plus I think calling anyone that word for no reason is disgusting ! .
I also hate how Lewis shouts "f ack off" like he's mentally disturbed

She's said one thing about Lewis, apart from the times she's nominated him. And that one thing was so straight to the point and damning (because it appears to be true) people now seem to think she's always moaning about him when she's not. And there was nothing particularly nasty about it. No swearing involved, no name calling. Just an observation.

All Sian has ever said is "idiot" & she mentioned how he's talking down to a woman again.
I've never heard her call him the C word ,but go on I guess :hee: .

This thread is about the C word though, Isabella and Hussein are a different story

I was comparing the recent 2 issues of male housemates and treatment of female housemates.
I used Hussain's as his was direct whereas Lewis and this word were not direct.

There are plenty threads where Lewis enters the scene which are not about him.
The Cian Cameron chat one being one example.

You may not agree with how I contrasted that but then I'd expect that with you anyway.

To the others on the bandwagon, this answer would be the same to you too.

The thing that was disturbing about lewis's use of the C word on that particular occasion was that it was applied with anger and venom that was borne from his own paranoia and delusions.

Anyone that thinks that is normal behaviour seriously needs a reality check because its not entertainment

I keep waiting to see how far Lewis and his crazy behavior will go . If Issy & Cian didn't intervene in the hot tub argument . Would he of struck Akeem?! , It's possible ! :suspect: . Lewis has serious anger issues ! He's a thug !.

I detest the c word.
I find casual use of it a bit chavvy.
I was shocked when I heard Isabelle use it when on a task.
Doesn’t sound good to me when anyone says it, including Lewis.
But it’s not a hanging offence.

Lewis is adored? Anamelia, Natalie Nunn, India - just a few women this year alone who had opinions are were called aggressive and detested by the publc and we’re out first

Men are treated and viewed much much better than women, men are allowed to have opinions and argue without being hated, women don’t have that so the point of the post is invalid

If a person is only calling women that word, it becomes an issue.

If someone uses the word to describe a variety of housemates, and generally uses a lot of swear words in their everyday language, it shouldn't be an issue because they're not targeting anyone in particular, it's just the way they talk.

..the word itself doesn’t bother me..it’s more the contempt and nastiness he showed for someone with totally no reason at all...
