What do you find entertaining ?

I would like to ask other forum members what they find enjoyable and entertaining when watching Big Brother (and what they don't).

I enjoy meaningful housemate chats about current events and
also Big Brothers tasks and seeing how housemates cope.
I like to see how housemate perceptions; on different housemate lifestyles, change as they are enlightened by what they see and have a new insight and understanding into them.

What I don't enjoy is constant whining, bitching and general moping around all the time. It is ok, now and again, but not constantly like a record set on infinate repeat.

So what do you find enjoyable (and not) ?

i enjoy a lot of what you've mentioned here, Saiwong, but I do like a good argument, too, so long as it doesn't get personal and nasty.

What I don't like to see is HMs lounging around in bed all day, or in their dressing gowns.

I agree, a good argument can be good watching.

However, don't have it day after day.

it gets very boring and a big turnoff if it is too constant. Now & again, fine but not everyday.

Summary: Show needs good MIX of content to stay enjoyable. Not churn out same content everyday

I like seeing someone as like the "house pariah" annoying the crap out of everyone else in the house - as long as they're not legitimately that annoying :laugh:

If there isn't one, or a good one at that, then I just like to see fun/nice people in there... not the miserable types that keep whining and complaining about everyone and everything, blegh.

That's a bit more character-based. As for storylines and what not I just want to see fights mostly especially when it comes to BBUK (BBUS a little different). :joker:

I like to see what they're having for dinner, Cameron and Lewis had spaghetti Bolognese on last nights show. A real treat.

This is why live feed is missed, we used to be able to watch them have dinner every night.

what I like about the Big Brother USA format, is the strategy and gameplaying and setting up of alliances (and breaking alliances).

It would be nice to see this in the UK version if it were to come back from cancellation

Maybe it should come back in the USA format … what do you think ?

I like people who have a bit of character. Housemates who can sometimes be controversial but are interesting to watch and liven things up. I don't mind a bit of game play.

I don't like whining, constant moaning and bitching about people behind their backs, without having courage to speak up to them.

TBH I don't think I like the sound of the US version - I'm not really entertained by strategising and making, or breaking, alliances, and I enjoy the fact that the public is involved.

Personally for a series of big brother I like unique housemates and unique house dynamics, within reason, most of all

i don't know if i have an exact criteria for what i find entertaining but i do know that i really hate miserable housemates

it's gets draining to watch and really ruins the show for me

Drama is what really tickles my pickle but ony if its unique and funny

Lewis moaning/Helen wood bullying/Bear etc is not entertainment to me
