View Full Version : Lewis is a bit of an asshole, but he should still win

He’s extremely difficult and problematic, and the fact that he moans and bitches about everyone behind their back but doesn’t have the backbone to bring the issues up with them to their faces in many instances makes him look bad.
He annoyed me last night with the whole haircut thing, and he irritated me today in the clip where he was having a go at Brooke for mentioning Koalas in their harmless, trivial conversation.
BUT, he was also there for Cameron with his coming out, gave up his coins for a party, treated people who didn’t like him to cocktail training because he knew they wanted it, was willing to allow Brooke to have the last jigsaw piece even though he could have outbid her, etc etc. The point is he’s extremely kind and caring.
He’s also stirred up the most **** in the house, defeated everyone whose ever gone up against him in an eviction or specifically targeted him in the house. And he’s been at the centre of pretty much every single dispute.
So while he’s definitely not the most likeable, he has a lot of aspects to his character, he’s contributed a lot to the show and he’s not inherently boring, as Zoe, Cian, Akeem, Sian or Brooke tend to be.
So he deserves to win, whether you like him or not. :flower:

Twats getting rewarded for being twats is never fun. It’s why Helen and bear were both dreadful winners

no he shouldn't and hes not been just a bit of an asshole. Hes been a complete asshole, a complete pain in the ass, the tone of his whiny voice has irritated the **** out of me and i m sure many others all series, i don t find that entertaining, i just find it f irritating so no way he deserves to win for making it unpleasant to watch for so many of us.
he isn't my winner, and I don't want him to win

He has been more honest to people's faces than any other housemate in there...the others have been equally bitchy and never had the balls to say it to his face.
He's been a great housemate to watch...I hope he wins.

Good post, I believe it was Cameron who said about the Koala and not Brooke, as I said he is possibly paving the way for a Cameron win because C. can give it but doesnt always like to take it as we know. He is definitely kind and caring, he tried to be "Robin Hood" whereas others took. Sadly to get full approval though he has to creep and be hypocritical before some will accept your words. Others only see the bad parts which each one of them has whether we like it or not.

I disagree, most scenes of people bitching are Lewis calling all the other housemates snakes, he rarely says it to their faces. He eventually will if probed by that housemate

What is it they say, there is always the switch off button or the fast forward lol..unfortunately he has that sort of accent which is sometimes hard to understand unless one has the same. It is wrong though to even question his tone as the accent doesnt help....others are passive aggressive but it is still the same.

I know it is your view and I accept that but of course the others dont bitch behind his back, they dont say a word against him, they are saints. Most havent got the courage to go and face him....I hope Zoe and Brooke sort things out with him but I still dont trust them. When Sian brought her grievance up he told her he appreciated her courage and thanked her.....everyone else, but him, seemed to be on the ball re who did it, who gave him that nom. As he said to them it didnt matter as he knew he would be up anyway. He didnt make anyone feel uncomfortable. They seemed to constantly push it down his throat, especially Cameron...

Love him or loath him Lewis has been this years series, without him it would have died a miserable death in week 2

I'm not sure that's right, people say that everytime a big character leaves and it rarely happens. Infact i would have liked to have seen a change in dynamics had he left but i won't say he's wasn't a good HM as much as i dislike him
