Because he thinks that Akeem is popular on the outside. If only he knew that Lewis is favouite to win and topping all the polls.
I think this lot would be shocked if they found out that Lewis is popular. They all think he's hated, including Lewis himself.

dont be silly, he will have to face it on Friday along with the others. I would think that voting will begin that night and then it is all to count for the final unless of course there is another twist.

I love how the only basis for Cameron being friends with Akeem is because he's 'more popular' and not because Akeem is inoffensive and a good person... which is generally a trait most people look for in a friend
I don't think Cameron's gonna lose any sleep when he walks out the house and finds out one of his friends that he started spending less time with was favourite to win for a period of time

Sometimes things change though.
There's less left in the house now, Akeem is clearly grateful to Cameron saving him.
Some bonding will naturally come from that.
..he isn’t distancing himself from Lewis...they’ve both already addressed that in that they can’t really spend every waking hour together ..and Cameron was filled with affection and praise for Lewis in his positive nomination reason...he’s just nurturing other friendships as well...which I think is much healthier anyway...in the chaining, Lewis will also have an opportunity to spend closer time with Cian and hopefully that’ll be a positive thing for both of them...

I've got friends, some of my other friends won't be around but my friends are my friends.
It doesn't mean I like either friends less than ones who don't get on.

I disagree.
Cameron had the power last week, in the end he hated it.
The coins balls in the garden, Cameron only picked up 83.
He wasn't bothered in the slightest.
Had he rushed about like the others, he'd have added hundreds, and still had the biggest coin stash and likely power himself.
He could have bid for the puzzle piece and didn't.
He saved Akeem when he Cameron , had the power.
He was also getting on better with Akeem even before Akeem got the power.
In fact even well before Fridays eviction.

You could be right, but I don’t think there is much trust between most of them.
I don’t see a rift between Cameron and Lewis, just a bit of interaction with the rest of the housemates.

When Cameron needed him he was there with Lewis, he was jealous of Isabella and that is why he evicted her instead of Akeem. He may now be trying to make amends to satisfy himself that he did the right thing. His guilt is false he is to self aware and knows what he is doingl. Fit in with the group to avoid noms, he knows that Lewis isnt popular with the others. He has the right to extend his friendship no one will deny that but he doesnt have the right to drop a loyal friend. As Lewis told him he doesnt own him.
Hopefully for Lewis's sake he will spend time with him but L. will have to stop teasing him because C. cant take it and he will stir the pot as he did for Tomasz. He has become a sheep and has joined the flock most of whom are against Lewis. It will be interesting to see if he joins in with their backstabbing.

He is being honest with him but he is also teasing him. Cameron should know by now what Lewis is about, Lewis has been there for him putting up with his moods and helping him. Maybe even though he said not to, he prefers Tomasz banter and sexual talk. Maybe he likes saying daddy for Akeem and Tomasz, who knows eh? Whilst he knows his own mind he is also impressionable and will go the way he wants to.

Tbf you can't really complain about Cameron after defending Isabella against Hussain last week, as you rightly pointed out about Isabella, Cameron can spend time with who he wants and Lewis has no right to complain about it.
