View Full Version : I'm starting to think that Cameron friendship towards Lewis is not genuine

From the beginning he said he saw Lewis as a brother. At the time he needed someone to confide in and Lewis has always supported him.
But ever since Lewis was saved Cameron has looked disappointed that he hasn't gone.
I think he assumed that Lewis was hated, so would be evicted.
But things couldn't be further from the truth, Lewis is a runaway favourite to win and topping all polls.
Cameron now feels threatened by Lewis, who could win.
Lewis should spend more time with Zoe, who is a very genuine friend to him.

Brooke has also been more of a friend to Lewis, even if sometimes she gets cross with him.

I think they are ok Vanessa,Lewis was laughing when they were bickering, and besties do bicker and clash,I do think Lewis is right about Akeem though.

Genuine friendships on BB are very rare. It's friendship of convenience. Nothing wrong with that, but that's how it is and has always been.

Cameron has 'never' even in jest, said like Brooke has, Lewis should be evicted.

You seem Vanessa with respect, to have sadly fallen for the divide and conquer route re Lewis and Cameron.
That's unfair on Cameron.

If you cannot see the great and probably the mutually needed friendship and bond they have.
That's very sad indeed.

Yes. They are like Brothers and brothers do their own thing, don't get on all the time.
However they are there in the crunch times when needed for each other.

I think both Lewis and Cameron would be sad to think their real supporters thought anything false as to either of them.

Anyone can see how close they are.
Despite the tensions of the house.
It's one of the most obvious things in there all series.

I'll never give in to or join the divide and conquer route as to them however.

This is unbelievable. If anything it's the other way round. And lets not forget he's an 18 year old kid who has been pretty level headed throughout. EVERYONE was supportive of him coming out in the house, not just Lewis . Lewis is sulking because he started to like Isabella's attention, even though he'd often slag her off to Cameron, because he evicted her.

..it wasn’t so much the attention though, Swan...it was that he felt confident she wouldn’t nominate him, is how he explained it to Cameron...

..I don’t think Cameron’s friendship and affection for Lewis will ever waver...but I do think he is starting to realise Lewis’ intolerance of people and his lack of respect for them..so I think the friendship is becoming more on a level..(..a healthier place..)...rather than him seeing Lewis on a pedestal in his eyes...there is only one position from a pedestal and that is off, which is how all friendships should be...

Lul...He doesn't care about the show though, remember. It's everyone else who are the game players. All the others who are playing up to the camera. Anyone but him craving attention.

Every other HM is so darn unreasonable, poor, hard done by Lewis. How blummin' selfish of Cameron, he should be utterly ashamed at himself.

They are not mutually exclusive friends although I think Lewis would like that from Cameron. Had isabella been saved Lewis would have spent time with her and Cameron is just spending time with others. I think if the choice ever came down to a choice between Lewis and Akeem, Cameron would still without hesitation choose Lewis. Just at the moment he is enjoying spending time with others. It's not a bad thing.....it shows if anything he is quite secure in his friendship with Lewis that he feels he doesn't have to be hanging off him at all times. Its been nice to see him smiling and having some fun in the last few days. He's a young lad who should be enjoying this experience and it looks like he is finally doing so.

yes, he seems to be very controlling

I don't mind you being friends with Akeem

pause, but I wasn't happy you saved him as it has impacted on me....well now it hasn't because of postive noms so give it up and lay down topless in the bathroom so the camera pans to you ugh....

But Cameron does not spend any time with Lewis at all anymore. When Lewis tries to talk to him Cameron barely answers. I just think it's very obvious.

I'd have said Cameron's supposed friendship with Akeem is the non-genuine one.

That's obvious!
There's a few friendships I think are fake or just something of convenience ,and I doubt a few of them will stay friends when they leave BB .
I think Akeem just tries to get on with people , Cameron is probably just hanging around Akeem and the others as he doesn't want to isolate himself ,as he knows that went against Lewis .

But I think it's tactical as well as he probably thinks Akeem is popular , seen as he apparently heard cheers  . Why doesn't the crowd stay quiet !.

If anything, it's Lewis doing this. The way he gets frustrated whenever Cameron is happy in the company of someone else, as well as talking down Cameron for not giving him attention 24/7 is disgusting

Lewis on the other hand is teasing him as an older brother would, this is what he was going to do when his hair was being cut. Naturally each one of them should have other temporary friends in there. I seem to remember Cameron poking his face through a window when Lewis and Isabelle were taking the prize beauty thing together. Afterwards though Lewis made sure that C. was ok. C. seemed to be following him constantly, they were true buddies.

Not sure why Cameron is trying to make Lewis jealous, it may be a bit of owns back but also is he trying to make amends and to prove to himself that he did the right thing?

Many theories he could be after the money (which they all are) and thinking that Akeem not being so volatile is the winner and yet, he didnt nominate him.

He is a typical 18 year old, possibly in and out of friendships but he is very self minded and knows exactly what he is doing. The house are now ganging up on L because of the suggestion box, most was pointed at him. We have a majority of "crude" people in there, thats ok, that is their way but I believe that Cameron really wants to come out and to talk to "Daddy". I hated him saying that and I have no doubt it made Lewis shrivel as well.

Remember C has always had his friendship with Tomasz even though he let him down and told the others that he was a gameplayer, this after he confided in him. Just a little bit of two standards in the lad.

Anyway they will mostly be friends afterwards (mmmmm or will they, that is the question). Brooke will be pleased to know that Lewis put her as one of his favourites. Myself I strongly believe that he got rid of Isabella because he was jealous, perhaps he is feeling all the more guilty now but is shifting the blame on Lewis shoulders, nothing unusual they all do!!! Noone seems to take responsiblity for their own actions.

Neither Akeem or Cameron have had much of a relationship. Have you not noticed that this friendship has developed since Cameron saved Akeem?
Akeem was very grateful as he is sooo desperate to win...I would say Akeem has perhaps latched on to Cameron rather than the other way around.

He and Lewis will be fine im sure...Cameron would never choose Akeem over Lewis.

I thought that at one time Ness but at the moment I feel that since Isabella went she has gone back to Cian. She is on a course of denial and possibly blames Lewis for not coming to her aid when she erupted. This possibly seems the way to take the blame off of her own shoulders for showing herself up. Many said she should have been taken out of the house (no, not for me) but the house seem to be on that vein of thought as well. They do not see that she interfered in something which L. was managing very well and then along comes her knight in shining armour Cian!! ijits.

It takes a greater man to walk away froim a battle than to give the other person the satisfaction he/she is striving for. Have gone off of her big time, she was so jealous when Cian went for Isabella, mind you I dont like weedy Cian, sitting there judging the publics moves, who does he think he is?. :wavey:

Do you think he sees him as a threat though Ness, none of them think he has a chance. Cameron did say it once but didnt get a reaction from the others. They are all so consumed with their own little circle. Also Cian says there were boos for Lewis but I cant honestly say I heard them? T. says there were cheers for Akeem, this may answer a lot in Camerons mind as he would also like to win.
