Because I haven't since Lewis left :hehe:
I put it on in the background but usually ignore it - end up watching lewis rants on instagram story instead
In all serious though when I did tune in i just saw Akeem begging for more air time desperate to win smashing eggs onto his head?? Bore off Akeem

Yes :hee: The positivity in there is amazingly refreshing

It's horrendously dull but I'm not gonna stop watching it when I've invested so much time in it/have watched it since the launch :skull:

I actually switched off during Sunday’s episode once we didn’t discover what Lewis had said and I missed last nights episode. Although judging from some of the Threads, I didn’t miss much

Yes of course. I don't tend to throw my toys out of the pram when someone I liked leaves or I'd never watch a series all the way through

If Sian leaves on Friday I will watch it on Sunday and on Monday  AND I will watch the final BOTs and I haven't watched it at all this year...
I can't normally handle BOTS, especially on finale night, but I'm definitely watching the last one ever. No matter what happens with the main show, BOTS certainly won't be back.

Still watching but it is getting dull.
Judging by the fact ratings haven't been released for the past 2 days though i don't think anyone else is.

I'm sticking with it to the end but a lot of people I discuss it with, have stopped watching and also won't be voting in the final now either.
It's sad really, very sad.

The forums been pretty dead since Lewis left and the gloating stopped. We have watched them play hide n seek...and re enact memorable moments which mainly consisted of scenes created by the bigger characters that have now been disposed of. Cameron cooked a roast..Akeem has giving himself lots of airtime which has been really cringy....and Brooke and Sian have compared nipple spots..It's dull..you are not missing much. I'm still watching it because I want Cameron to win..

I've been tempted to switch off in the last few days, but I'm sticking it out to the end.
I like to compare it to the challenge of finishing a not-very-interesting book, rather than leaving it with 100 or so pages to go.

This tbh. I think its pretty sad that people would stop watching because their fave was ejected, it seems pretty petty. I have watched every series since BB1 and so there is no way I would not watch the end of what could possibly be the last one on TV for certainly the foreseeable future.
Watching someone ranting on instagram is my worst nightmare too

Still watching, but it feels a bit hollow, because of the manner of Lewis' departure - throwing someone out, who was a favourite, with only a week left, and not giving a proper explanation.
Vicky.

Yup. Enjoying the positivity and fun. There will have been fun the whole time mind, but producers chose to focus on Lewis/Camerons moaning/paranoia instead. Obviously thats not Lewis' fault, but its been refreshing to have episodes that are not just about bitching, whilst claiming never to bitch

31-10-2018, 04:54 PM
I was watching it when it aired, but now i'm recording it and skipping most of it.
BB''s awful now Lewis has gone.
I didn't like lewis at all, and I found it awful to watch while he was in. Final weeks are always less interesting because the hm's all start to focus on getting out/winning. However, going from a paranoia saturated mess to a quiet final week is a big change in pace so it will seem even more extreme than usual.
What I've had confirmed to me this week is that Cameron and Akeem are both obsessed with winning, Cian is a pretty hopeless try hard, Zoe is simply unpleasant, Brooke thinks of herself as an intellectual and couldn't be further from it, and Sian is the nicest one in there

I’m watching but getting annoyed at how badly dressed they all are...orange towels and dressing gowns. Apart from Sian they are all so scruffy. Didn’t really notice it before (apart from Zoe’s hideous dressing gown). They are a bit of a dull lot I have to say which is so disappointing for the last series...never mind...

No, and again it's not because I liked Lewis or thought he should win (I actually think he story was over 2+ weeks ago), it's purely and simply because it's supposed to be a REALITY SHOW and they didn't show why one of the most featured people was removed. It's totally pointless. As James said above; makes the whole thing hollow.
People who didn't like Lewis and claim to be OK with him being removed without explanation... I honestly suspect you're lying to yourselves fuelled by that dislike. Imagine for a second that it wasn't a show you were watching and just heard about it in passing... that someone who was bookies favourite to win a show was kicked out... and no one knows why? utter shambles.

yeah I get that, but I think they are protecting him rather than anything, it would make no odds for them to show it, and if it is just not that bad why hasn't he said what he said or has he?

As I said on another thread earlier; I'll watch the final just out of curiosity and maybe catch up on the episode before the final (as they don't tend to show much on the actual night). Other than that I'm not wasting an hour of every evening on this :idc:.

Bold 1) Maybe, if it's true that it was the channel not the show, but that could be the only reason as they've never protected anyone from things they've said in the past. Also, even if that's the case, it's still bull**** and it still makes for pointless "reality" TV.
Bold 2) Could be that it looks bad for him, could be (and I suspect might be) contractual obligations. They don't get "paid" like the celebrities; but they do get basic pay while they're in there (to cover their rent / bills etc. at home) and breaking that contract would allow them to claim that money back from him, which one assumes would probably be in the region of £2000 - £3000 for two months.

Lewis has confirmed on his instagram story now that he said auschwitz instead of outfits when talking to cameron and then mocked himself for his mistake by imitating Hitler in what he said was a slip of the tongue and said he isn't anti-semitic and was a slip of the tongue mocking the moment
I personally don't think it's a reason to be removed
He also said on his live story that he didn't air half of the things he said and said he'd discussed his suicide attempts and other important matters in his life that they didn't air

Ratings haven't budged...
Thursday last week- 598k (4.7%)
Last night- 596k (5.8%)
Similar number, but being later last night, the share was 1% higher. So, yeah all those saying "people will boycott" had made no difference whatsoever.

Sian isn't shown mentioning her child so she must be a terrible mother who doesnt care about her child at all.

two of my online friends have commited suicide in the last two weeks alone Cherie - the male suicide rate is something like 70% of all cases - why should it not be a reality to speak about to help reduce the rate and the stigma? :conf:
