He’s been overmarked the last two weeks in a row (Vanessa and Blurryface don’t even @ me). Yes he’s a good dancer, but he is not dancing good enough to get the scores he’s getting imo? He seems very stiff a lot of the time and I’ve seen people on Twitter in agreement.

I have a feeling some of the judges are just scared his fans may go against them! He’s talented and definitely deserves to be there, but two marks behind Stacey... I don’t ****ing think so darling.

The paso was probably a little bit overmarked i’ll give you that, I’d say it deserved 8’s rather than 9’s, but he’s definitely deserved all the other scores he’s gotten.

look my apologies for the nasty behaviour towards Ashley, i just don't find it exciting watching her performances, while Lauren does excite me, quickstep was exactly my cup of tea, the no gapping (some fail to achieve that :idc: ) contemporary where she was wooden, she did tell a story of her life (i recognized the swimming, cycling, running, and that was exactly what AJ told her to do with that dance) and now Paso and Jive she showed more energy in contrast to the lack of energy in charleston and cha cha

I expected as much after Alex was bullied last year. Ashley proved in the jungle she is a lovely person and it's such a shame people want to hate on her and see her abused simply for having previous training in certain forms of dance.

The tea is that he’s a great dancer that’s had no experience before and learned everything he’s showcasing during the show and people appreciate someone that grows in front of them week by week, he’s 2nd favourite to win after Stacey for a reason

People are quick to be critical of new dancers. He never danced before Strictly. He may not be at the same level as Stacey but people are different and take longer to learn.

People like Faye and Ashley are excellent dancers and deserve to win in their own right, but their experience in learning choreo makes them quicker to pick up the routines. They're not experienced in B&L at all (besides Ashley's prior, and brief, ChaCha training) but still have an advantage. It doesn't make them less deserving, mind.

In this series we've had Stacey, Joe, and a couple of Ashley's dances get severely overmarked imo.

Also as much as I find Graeme to be a fun contestant, I don't get how the judges have ever come close to giving him a total of 31.:laugh2:

It doesn't matter as much though because for the most part the overmarking is consistent - so everyone is overmarked to an extend. Undermsrkimg only happens in the first 4 ish weeks when they want to cull the middle of the road dancers and lesser known celebs

Ashley nor Faye have put forward performances that have been overscored drastically like Joe has. Actually I thought Ashley was underscored during the movie week and should have scored 10's and Faye underscored the week before last.

I know Joe will win I knew as soon as he was announced but if he doesn't improve sharpish he'll not have many claiming the best dancer won or the most improved just the one with the bigger fanbase which is something i hoped Strictly would never become. If the winner becomes just the person with the larger fanbase the show loses its magic for me.

The best dancer hardly ever wins, if the best dancer won every year then Alexandra would have walked the last series, it’s all about who the audience connect with and who they feel has grown the most, I personally don’t have a problem with contestants with dance experience, but for me, I find it much more impressive when people like Joe and Stacey get nines, than when someone like Ashley gets nines and tens because that’s expected, I hope she goes far in the show because I love watching her dance, but for me, the show is about complete novice celebrities learning to dance and she’s never had a bad week because she’s already a dancer.

I wouldn't rule him out. His fanbase got him to Blackpool, when he was really low in the leader Board. So i can't see why he can't get to the final. And then who knows?

I've not seen Ashley or Faye deliver performances that could be scored below a 25 like Joe did with his Waltz and his performance this week just gone.

And tbh Stacey does a dance that's worth a total of 30 and she scores a 35, it's crazy.

I'm not even supporting Ashley or Faye, but they're technically in a different league to Joe imo, and I get that it's because they're ringers, but the show put them both on so the judges should judge them fairly against all of the other contestants.
