Anyone else enjoy BB19?

I don’t think it was bad, it just wasn’t very good. Out of like the 10 or so series of big brother I’ve finished this year this was the only one I walked away from without a heap of good memories from it

I liked most of the housemates.
The tasks were superb.

It had all elements needed for a good series.
Several housemates were greatly entertaining.
Touching moments, drama, and often hilarious results from and during tasks.

I loved this series.

One of the worst on C5, only above 16 and probably on par with 15 for me (I haven't seen 12)

While the tasks were 10 times better and not the usual 'who did the public vote as the fattest, ugliest, bitch who doesn't shower', the cast was horrific and there was not one iconic moment I will look back on in years to come, anyone who would potentially have given us that (Anamelia, Kay) OR would have provoked someone who was less argumentative to give us that (Lewis G) was booted out early

IMO it has the worst eviction and final order of C5 (bar maybe 16), a bad set of housemates and overall just a dull series

Having good production is one thing, but a series has to have more than some good tasks to actually be a good series

Very much so! Easily the best produced series on C5, and would probably be my favourite overall had Lewis won

We got second best in Cameron though, so thankfully it wasn't another BB17 situation where there were literally 3 chances to make it my favourite series since BB7 and they all lost. It's definitely top 3 on C5 but I'll need some time to reflect on how they rank :think:

The cast were great on the whole with one of the best sets of males in ages, the females were really poor as a group though (and most of the good ones left early)

I think this series is going to end up a bit like BB10 where it's either loved or hated

I loved the cast apart from that obnoxious divvy Hussain ... I'd imagine someone will always be trying to chin him when he's out and about :)

I think people forget most of the “iconic” moments from C5 casts have been a result of ****ty C5 production

For example, Isabelle would’ve never said “role model to ya son tho” (:love:) if it weren’t for that task where they had to label traits on eachother, and this series has been the only one on 5 where there hasn’t been any tasks like that so that might be why some think the cast has been awful
Even tho without the **** stirring tasks, there has still been plenty of arguments and drama; I found it very consistent, I can’t remember an episode where I’ve thought it had been boring bar some of the last week, but that’s expected

Isabelle vs Lotan was always brewing, she was bound to say something like that to him eventually without any task involvement

I still have a week to go in my watch but it might be my median series? Some good and some bad, some likable HMs and some unlikable ones, some good moments and some frustrating moments. I thought the first half was the fun but the second half was slow and kinda dragged since it was a lot of the same storylines over and over again. I think the whole intruder thing really started to ruin the pace of the show? Like they came and went in two weeks and then we went back to exactly where we were before, just without Kenaley who wasn't really missed at all despite what people say!

Also with our finalists, I feel like I didn't really get to know anything about Cian... or Zoe... or even Cameron? Like it just felt very surface level and inauthentic.
