It’s ashame people are going to whine about her having experience rather than praising the performance. People were saying she was overmarked last week because she had experience. They need to stop being babies and enjoy the dancing.

Lauren's strengths are: playing a character she does that really well (evil queen paso was fab, last week she did a lovely Nellie, also good in sync with backing dancers, lots of storytelling), ballroom suits her more than latin (but i hope they go full on disco for that samba, dress aj as tony manero pls :fc: and lauren a lovely glitter dress)

weaknesses: latin technique (even though she tries the best she can, not going for comedy) or it also isn't a dance disaster, she first didn't feel the dance (now she does)

if ashley was a average dancer she would've been early boot like anastacia and michelle williams tbh, michelle shocked me that she was a bit of a duffer given her destiny's child stage experience :shocked:

btw Rock the Boat is one of my mom's favourite disco songs, she loves that era she went a discotheque called planet hollywood here when she was in her 20's, the trammps used to perform there live, and rock the boat was also a popular hit there played there every evening apparently
