Read back to an earlier post. You have to pick 2 songs that mean something to you. A fast song and a slow song so I can pick the best dance for you based on those choices you will get to dance to one of them. But it has to have a message connected to it whether it's a favourite song you had as a child, if you had it the last day of school, if it reminds you of a loved one etc etc

So a song that means something to you whether it reminds you of family, whether it's a song you loved as a child, maybe a song you danced to at your wedding, maybe even a song that makes you sad but means the world to you. You get the jist

What I need is you all to pm 2 song choices 1 fast and 1 slow I will then determine which dance you are given based on that. So you won't get to dance to both songs but I will choose one based on your dance for that week. So 2 choices please and hopefully later in the series you can dance to your second choice.

It was a good theme but having personal experiences was touchy, especially as people chose really Heartfelt ones.

I think I even said in some of the reasons, I didn't like a majority of the songs but some of them I gave high scores to because I felt bad saying someones personal memory is only worth a 3, for example.

Amy I'm pretty sure I know which one was yours and it was one of the ones which I liked the story to, and the song. If it wasn't, then it doesn't matter because what does matter is that you still have these memories.

It's just extremely hard for contestants not to take scores personally, when the songs are about personal memories.

I love this song, it reminds me of when I at school, looking forward to the weekend, listening to 80s classics helped make doing my homework so much easier

This song reminds me of when I was working at an old peoples home while a student and each Friday I would run a Disco for the old people and I would always start my banging set with this and it would bring the house down, relatively) and some people even would get out their chairs to dance and ones that had been asleep would wake up and shout loudly. It's probably not very exciting but This song reminds me of my dad who has now passed so it's really special to me, dad used to play this all the time,he loved Creedence,he used to dance to it with me (Well try to) I was about 9, He used to mimic being in the band,They brought our first video recorder when they first came out and dad brought home a video to watch, American Werewolf in London,I wasn't allowed to watch it at the time but my brother and I snook a sneaky look one day and loved it,lol and yes there was that music by this band with a name I could never remember,over the years I got to hear some of their other stuff,the singer has a great voice and I have always loved their music and when I hear it now it takes me right back to those days dad danced with me ,and we had happy days,dad passed away a few years ago, he had a song by them called 'Lodi' played at his funeral another lovely song ,so for me this song reminds me of my dad and happy childhood days, when mom and I ever hear this it makes us smile
